A really cozy and affordable Japanese restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui. Every time my family wanna have Japanese food, we go to this restaurant. We discovered that accidentally after having a very poor dinner nearby. We just walked into this place and found some really authentic food and staff there. You’ll enjoy the ambience as well as the fresh food offered by the restaurant. If you’re thinking about a small gathering with your friends, this is a place for you. The only reason I don’t give it a 5-star is its location. You may not find he place easily unless you’re familiar with the neighborhood. But taken everything into account this is one of the few great restaurants that are remaining in HK now. Enjoy!

I’ve had hit and miss sushi in Hong Kong. This place has been here forever. I think the reviews are a little generous — the sushi was pretty good but I’ve had better in the city. The furnishings are dated and crowded, but I will say the service is friendly and snappy and the best part of the meal. Lots of locals in here. The menu is pretty big, and I’d call this place Japanese Food, not sushi or tapas. I also had the fried soft shell crab roll, also so-so. For the food, I’d probably stick to the soups, skewers, and sashimi.

This is a hidden Japanese gem in TST! Great values for lunch. There’s always a queue at this authentic Japanese restaurant that’s hidden in an alley behind Haiphong Road, but queue is always short and you get a table in no time. Most favorite dish is the deep fried chicken dish with sweet and sour sauce. Only 70hkd! Eat away?
