Just Salad

You’d think that being in a internationally recognized food hub, it would be easy to find a decent salad in Hong Kong, right? WRONG! When I just moved here a few years back, I was so sick of Chinese food day in and day out, I wanted so desperately for a simple, healthy, crisp salad. The hunt was long, and the hunt sucked. I resorted to the salad bar at supermarkets or even worse, pre-​made salads with stale as ever croutons. Then, I found Just Salad!
Yes, they are not your cheapest salads, and yes, there is always a line out the door during lunch hours on weekdays that make you hangry, yes, HANGRY. BUT, I have to say, their salads are legit. There are so many options to choose from, you may just get a big overwhelmed. For those very people, Just Salad gives you a few yummy suggestions displayed on their menu.
You’ll get a free topping or two if you bring one of their bowls you can purchase for 10HKD with you. GO GREEN! =) The bowls come in White, Orange, and Green. If you’re VERY special, you get a pink bowl or black bowl… oh lala~ No idea what that means, but I’m sure there are perks to it.
There is also seating for about 15 – 20 people upstairs which is nice for those that prefer to eat there. If i remember correctly, there is also a television to entertain you if you’re lunching alone. Great salad bar, but a bit pricey. For a typical salad, you are expected to fork out about 80HKD.
