One of my favourite bars in Hk! Tai hang is still a secret to most of Hk but this place has a great atmosphere, friendly staff and great beer/cocktail selections. It’s a really cool place to hang out

pronounced gu — ay(Spanish). tai hang road shops around tin hau are always trendy and growing(desserts, watering holes). mixology art here, paying special attention to the art of the ice. nice menu choices — they can make anything.

We’re talking old-school cool here. Order a cocktail & the 1st thing the bartender does is chill a glass with crushed ice. Next, they’ll select a crystal clear block of ice, inspect it, cut and shave it down to the perfect shape. Each note in the cocktail receives it’s needed care and are gracefully composed into a harmonious melody greater than the sum of it’s parts. I had a rich conversation with the bartender about the tasting notes of various gins and vermouths in the construction of the perfect martini. There is an attention to detail and a love of the mixology here that sets this place apart from the 99% of the world’s bars out there. This is a place worth supporting. Give it a shot, you won’t be disappointed.

I love that this place is located in an area that is unknown to most tourists! It makes it that much more special. This place isn’t big so I wouldn’t recommend a big group. But it would be a nice place to host an intimate gathering. I don’t really know if the owners allow this, but doesn’t hurt to ask! The drinks are also very tasty. I’m not a drinker, but paired with a shot of tomato juice, they made a Petron shot very interesting! And the bartender is so fun to watch, as he concentrates so hard to make the drinks.
