This place is delicious due to it’s super duper greasy foods, but obviously it’s quite unhealthy due to it’s super duper greasy foods. Buuut it’s one of the good places to go. Even the prices are fair for what you get. I do recommend the hainan chicken. As for other foods, it’s a hit or miss on some dishes as others may have said. Trial and error goes a looong way. By the way, Cash only!

No frills eatery in the back left corner of the 1st floor of the Houston Centre in East TST. With a dozen tables in the«main» restaurant, there are other dining rooms across the hall for when it gets busier. The Chai Tau Kway(radish cake) was AWESOME, full of smokey flavor. That dish along is worthy of another trip to TST alone. Ironically, we didn’t think that the satay was particularly good(least favorite of our 3 dishes). I probably would try the Fried Kway Teow next time instead of ordering the Sambal Beehoon Goreng(noodles) again. And would definitely try the Chicken Rice, especially after seeing the recommendation on CNNGo travel site… Next time

This place is absolutely delish! I first found out about this place via open rice. It was about a year ago when my friends and I was around the area and we just looked it up on open rice. Little did we know that place made it to our must visit places every time when we come back to Hk ever since. My favorite dish is the hai nan chicken. It’s absolutely fantastic. The chicken was all deboned so you don’t have to worry about picking out the bones and dirty up your fingers. The hainan chicken goes so well with their chicken oil rice. They use the chicken oils that secreted out from the chicken while they were preparing it and mix it well with white rice. The soy sauce that they use to dip the chicken is a bit different as well, it tastes a bit sweeter than regular soy sauce. Over all the trio– sauce, chicken oil rice, and the hainan chicken goes so well together. When I put the first bite of the trio in my mouth, my taste buds busted it out dancing in happiness. The satay skewers were good as well, although it’s a bit sweeter than I expected but it was good nonetheless. I can’t wait to come back and try more different dishes from this place before I leave Hk.

This is a place that has some great dishes and some awful dishes. It took me quite a while to find out which the good ones were but the laksa is fantastic, the friend rice is good, the hainan chicken is good and the prawn mee is good. It’s dirty and hectic but the food is good.
