Located right beside the Wan Chai market, this is a my sister’s 飯堂 go to place for meals.
The service is excellent, and the down home dishes were good.
We ordered: —
Mini Roast Pig — very Crispy skin with very lean pork underneath.
Sea Cucumber and Duck. Feet Hot pot — if you like the texture of the sea cucumber (very gelatinous) or full of collagen, it was very nicely stewed.
Salted Fish and Minced Pork — I am not a fan of salted fish so I did not try it, the minced pork was hand minced so the texture was really good.
Beef with Greens — very tender meat with very crisp greens sauté
There were several more dishes but our table was too hungry and did not have time to take photos.
We ended the meal with the cold pomelo, mango tapioca in mango coconut milk.
While we were there, some Hong Kong movie star was also there, we were treated the same so the staff is very good at giving good service all around.
We did share the private elevator used by the star that leads straight to the garage so paparazzi were avoided.
