You have to buy a drink as a minimum purchase per person. I got the Matcha Red Bean Honey Toast. It was pretty good, but the bread was a little tough. Their earl grey milk tea was really watery, it doesn’t have enough tea.

I love this place so much. Always have to visit here whenever I’m in Taipei. The wait is usually over an hour. Drinks: fresh fruit tea. So refreshing in the summer! Entrée: pan fried chicken with basil pesto sauce. Noms. Dessert: Strawberry brick toast.

Went there as a treat for the girlfriend as she has been wanting to go for a while now. The food wasn’t amazing and is no doubt overpriced for what it is. We ordered its«famous» waffles, a club sandwich, a cold drink & a cup of coffee and the bill set us back a nice three hundred. Quality was okay but I expected more for its price tag. The waffle was a bit of a let down particularly as it was very doughy and I had a feeling that they didn’t get the batter mixture right. I do see how girls love this place with its cute and girlish décor and it surely would make a nice backdrop for all those FB and Instagram posts(a girl was sitting next to our table so busy taking selfies that her ice cream has completely melted by the time she finished). IMO, I am a dude and this is definitely not the place for me.

Long line, but the food was quite good and unique. I don’t like how you have to buy a drink, because they are overpriced and of my group of three none of us liked our drink and barely drank a sip. The toast and the waffles were amazing though! But just to note, our waiter only spoke Taiwanese Mandarin, barely Cantonese or English. So if you’re like me who can’t speak much Mandarin, especially Taiwan Mandarin, it was quite difficult to convey what we wanted from the menu with the waiter. Perhaps they can hire waiters who speak more languages, as Hong Kong is a diverse place. If the lines were a bit shorter, people spoke English and there was no mandatory drink, I would rate this place higher.

Cute place but way too overpriced. I was pretty disappointed when I realized HK lacked any cute cafes so I was really excited when I stumbled across this one. It’s located on the third floor of the iSquare mall(take the elevator, you won’t miss is) and had a huge line of girls waiting to be seated. I came on a weekday around 2 and ended up waiting about 35 – 45 minutes. This café is very well decorated and it made me feel like I was having a tea party but I don’t think it’s worth the price. It’s something nice to experience once but I probably won’t come back. I ordered the kiwi tea and paid nearly 6USD just for a small glass. The pasta here was just alrightttt, nothing special but the strawberry waffle was pretty good. The presentation of it was really cute but I wouldn’t come back for a 45 minute wait just for that. Dazzling café is something you should experience once, but one time is probably enough.

I came here 2 times in a roll. I was crazily in love with their waffles and toasts. I was craving it everyday to be honest but their wait is always crazy. Be sure to get here early before you’re hungry or you’ll go crazy.

Typical Hong Kong craze — long lines and hour plus wait. The honey toast was creative and delicious, but not worth a two hour wait. Without the long queue i will definetely be back! The fruit tea was also refreshing and worth the try.

This place does whatever it can to suck you dry. In addition to their already expensive desserts(I came to HK expecting to pay less than what I can get in America), they make you order a mediocre drink. Way to rack up your bill! Their honey toast was mediocre. I’ve had better in America. This place takes advantage of the fact that it’s probably the only place in HK that serves honey toast. If it wasn’t for my girlfriend, I would’ve walked out of this sorry establishment, even after waiting about an hour for a table. Definitely would not be back. A waste of ~$ 200HKD($ 25USD).

Great atmosphere, great service, great vibe. Just be sure to come early and line up :) u can pick the number and walk around until it’s your turn. The servants are all Taiwanese, they said it is to make us feel like visiting Taiwan. They are very nice and are willing and patient to explain to you about their food, ingredients etc. All toast flavours look so good, I’ll come back for the hazelnut chocolate one: D

So I just complained about Hong Kong not having enough good dessert places and here I am writing another dessert place. Well, this place is fantastic I am telling you. But you will NEVEREVER get a seat if you come after you finish your dinner elsewhere. As a matter of fact, unless you are super patient and you have hours to kill, do not come here. Because my friends and I waited for almost two hours to finally get a table(it always puzzles me how people here are okay with waiting for tables… let alone waiting for over an hour…) Anyways, I am just glad that I finally got the chance to give it a try. As I have heard so much about this place, I just cannot wait to see what this is all about. Since it took us two hours to get a table, we already had our meal elsewhere, we came in just for the dessert. First look at the menu, they serve really appetizing toast. And not just normal toast, but those big ones with ice cream and chucks of whipped cream. Wow! After a long time(sorry I have difficulties making choices at times), we ordered«Party in Your Mouth». It was made with vanilla ice cream, strawberries, custard, syrup and of course the honey toast. Staff here are very nice as they would help you with slicing it up if you really do not know how to tackle this. They also will propose taking pictures for you. That’s a sweet little touch there. What I can say is that the food is AMAZING but I hope that once the hype is gone we do not need to wait for hours to get in again… this restaurant has excellent service and very nice food, but I had to deduct one star because of the long wait.
