Got into HK early Monday morning totally exhausted, entered the hotel mid-morning and was told I could not get the room until noon at the earliest. So I had a couple hours to kill and just walking around the mall would probably cause me to go into a coma. Found Cinema City attached to the mall and realized, «I still haven’t seen Star Wars.» The seating was a little smaller than United States standards, and definitely what I’m used to lately(think: giant automatic reclining chairs). However, it was definitely more than adequate. The sound was decent but not amazing. The visuals weren’t stunning but got the job done. Lightsabers were shown fine. Service was decent as the ticket counter lady was patient and probably realized that we’re not from around these parts. I appreciated the fact that the facilities(lobby and theater) were clean. Against American pricing standards, this place wasn’t cheap.

Tried the 4DX theater. Not bad. I enjoyed it. The attempts to incorperate movement, spray, wind, etc into the movie are mostly clumsy. I often felt like I was in a cheap massage chair. When the action got going it did have an immersive effect. I found myself very much enjoying a movie I would otherwise have thought was idiotic. «Scouts guide to the zombie apocolypse». 2d 4dx(lol). Sound quality was good. Is it worth the 190hkd price? Yes, once in a while.
