Usually not a fan of fast food places, but I really like this place! Chinese fast food in China is so different and much better than American fast food. I got the bbq pork + chicken with rice noodle soup from the«tea set,» and it was delicious. Great red bean fleecy too

I give these place 3 stars for being affordable, fast, easy, and convenient. The food is also very decent for the price you pay. Sure you can get better elsewhere, but pay a lot more. — — – I had 4 stars here but changed it as Ive eaten there several times this week. Just got in and decided to drop a star for this reason. Many dishes come with coffee/tea and it says soft drink but then down below an upcharge if you choose that. I cant read Chinese so I tell the order taker the drink but I dont know if its on that paper chit or not. Never had trouble until just now. I said tea, but no tea would be had. Most help understands enough English to get by. They give me water and I dont know if its bottle or tap. Tap might be ok but Im on my way back from India and dont want any more mishaps as I can still feel that! So again I ask for tea but nope, nothing. I think they are telling me to sit and they will bring it but they dont. You mean to tell me theres no more tea in China? I give up… forget the included drink, just eat and get the hell out. If I was in small town China hey, thats the way it goes. However this is Hong Kong, an International financial center and powerhouse with sufficient English all around and im a stones throw from the Peninsula hotel and Star Ferry, and now these folks all say no English. What they need to do is drop the price a few dollars and charge for all drinks rather than try to include them when the system is totally disfunctional by doing so. If charged and printed on the chit, they im sure there would not be problems as they are good at reading those slips. Down a star it goes! — — — — — — This is a chain restaurant with locations all over! You pay as you enter, so know what you want before you get to the register. Hanging board shows your choices. You pay and get a paper slip. Go put that on a tray and FOLLOWITCAREFULLY as people often grab the wrong tray and then you have a mishap. The help moves the trays around and the order can switch SOPUTYOURELECTRONICSAWAYANDPAYCLOSEATTN!!! If you want things like salt or pepper, etc its not on the tables and you go to a counter and pull out a drawer! Photo posted of that. Because of the quantity of foods offered you often have 2 lines going and the help will point you to a second line if the order you have isnt at the first stop. You squeeze in with strangers at small tables. Try to spot the sick people before you sit next to one! You can get a decent meal here for LESS than a McDonalds or something like that so you have no reason to go to McDonalds! This is better than that. This location is alongside the Chung King Mansions so theres several hundred small guest houses next door and convenient eating for those folks who want more than curries. At the current time, the entry says Café de oral, someone stole a C.

i LOVE café de coral. this is usually the location my family visits because we usually stay in tst. this location is nicely decorated with plenty of seats, but i would definitely avoid early morning and lunch because all the working drones will surface and you’ll need to be aggressive with finding a place to sit, so it’s definitely not ideal for big groups during peak time. some items i absolutely love: 1) hokkaido fish filet breakfast: fried fish for breakfast? with a side of egg and ham? don’t mind if i do. 2) ham and egg sando: omg, i love my sandwiches simple, and the ham and egg sandwiches are SO good! but they sell out fast, so get yours early! 3) oatmeal: i’m salivating thinking about this. cantonese oatmeals are prepared more runny and liquidy, just perfect. i can eat this forever. 4) cantonese bbq: i usually get the chicken and char siu rice for lunch/dinner. SOYUM! i guess you could call this place«fast food», but it’s healthy :) service is quick, you line up to order, then bring ticket to the back to pick up your order. they’re super efficient here at cdc because you know, in hong kong, who has time to waste?
