Café 8 is situated directly above the Maritime Museum at Central Ferry Pier 8. It is a prime waterfront spot in a super-busy area, right next door to the Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui. Café 8 is a Nesbit centre with a good quality selection of soups, pastry, salads, sandwiches, sweets(fruit scones etc.), hot and cold drinks. With 32 for a café latte and 40HKD for a fresh quiche plus a little side salad it sports reasonable prices. They also offer wraps, fruit platters, and dairy free ice cream. Cool to find lots of vegetarian options. The afternoon tea set costs $ 58 and I ‘ll try it and the selection of fresh juices soon and will then update this review. Great selection of wines, beers, spirits and liqueurs. They even got German Kölsch beer and Radler(beer plus lemonade/shandy) in their selection. All drinks about 30% off during happy hour. The café is part of a non-profit social enterprise which is enabling adults with learning disabilities to realise their full potential and be part of our community. The café is spacious and modern, the décor is bright and airy and best of all, there’s a huge roof terrace right outside with a priceless view of the Hongkong skyline! Maybe best to be enjoyed zipping a morning coffee or afternoon tea in one of the stylish comfy looking white armchairs.
