I’ve been to this place several times with my ex. I also went once with a co-worker. My ex is Korean so I think she is well versed in Korean BBQ. She has lived here in Guam for most of her life. According to her, this is the best Korean BBQ spot on the island. I will take her word for it, and I won’t be going to any other Korean spot. Korean BBQ is something that should be shared with other people. You should never go to this kind of place alone. She showed me how to cook, and wrap the meat with green onion, garlic, and saamjang. Each time I went, I had the samgyapsal, soondubu jiggae, and some other type of meat. The banchan here is always fresh and the wait staff regularly check on us to make sure we have enough. You should believe me when I say that all the food is simply amazing. If you aren’t familiar with the Korean food words that I mentioned, then you should go to a Korean spot and learn. I’m not writing this for this particular spot, but for anybody interested in Korean BBQ. The only word that comes to mind when describing Korean BBQ is «awesome!»

Today was the first time I sampled Mi Dahm’s menu. It touted authentic Korean dishes. Naturally I looked for the most familiar dish to me; something with meat and rice. I ordered the bulgogi spicy soup and I was very happy with it as both the taste and the overall restaurant pricing did not give me second notice. This particular dish was spicy enough to enjoy, and tasty enough to discern the various ingredients in the bowl. It is delicious! On top of this, the owner was very pleasant and helpful with the menu, as we did not know what to order. He helped narrow down our dishes, and I have to say I will come back again because he gives his food that extra attention, just as he gave us his time… and a bit of history of certain dishes went along with his recommendations. Bring a friend or two, or four. It’s worth the experience.

Outstanding quality of authentic Korean cuisine! Excellent customer service. Their banchan variety is made fresh. You can tell each banchan item is not store bought. I tried the B Course which had an assortment of freshly prepared beef. The grill at our table was awesome. It was easy to use and ventilation was very good. I also had Jinro Soju which made my meal more enjoyable. The wait staff were very attentive and provided timely service. The head chef makes time to talk with customers. He was very approachable and pleasant to chat with. 5 stars for authentic Korean cuisine, excellent customer service, and a sincere approachable head chef.

6÷27÷15 I read an article on the PDN about this chef, and, how he does not use MSG in his cooking. I was excited to give it a try. My first dining experience at Mi Dham began at nine o’clock pm. It is a good sign when the house is filled close to closing on a Saturday night. I noticed most of the tables were taken with only a few left, to be cleared off. It was also noticeably warmer in temperature. Waiting for a table took about ten minutes. We were then promptly seated by one of the servers who quickly and with short breath said, I will be back with water and I then will take your order, and then she literally ran off. Another group of six trailed in to add to the workers load. The same waiter that ran off then took the drink order for the party of six that just walked in. The chef, seeing this, came to our table and asked if someone had gotten our drink. We requested for water and placed a Kalbi order with him directly to save from server hassles. We received our Kalbi before our water and banchan. Then when those came, we did not have our rice or chopsticks. With all that said and done. We were able to cook on the grill(finally, a few restaurants did not allow us to cook our own kalbi). I enjoy being able to grill my food. The Kalbi, though not too flavorful was soft and nicely colored. I really enjoyed the dipping sauce that came with it. I also enjoy that they give the garlic, green pepper, and bean paste condiments(like Dabin). They must have ran out of banchan because we were only offered four and I saw at least six on most tables. The four we did receive were all good. The kimchee had a crisp, fresh crunch, while still having the a nice balance of the fermented sour. This was my first time to have octopus served as a banchan. I then ordered the pork belly, which I crisped up on the grill like bacon, and then dipped it into the sesame/salt mixture. Sinful. Can’t complain with such a great first experience. The menu is clean and simple, prices are lower or comparable to most Korean joints and from what I sampled, the quality in the food is there. Definitely found a new go to Korean spot.
