Your search for the most delicous Greek food is now over! The inside is small but cozy. The restaurant seats roughly 20 – 25 people inside(about 7 tables). The back patio is open during Spring and Summer, which equals extra seating. The dress code is as casual as it gets. This is family owned and operated. The husband is the waiter and the wife is the cook. The food is well made with fresh ingredients. Your taste buds will be satisfied and you will not go home hungry. Be prepared to parallel park or take the train, parking is scarce during peek hours. Last but not least, bring cash! Most restaurants in Germany prefer cash or an EC card. Tip: The owners do not speak English so please brush up on some basic Greek or German, prior to your visit… or just point to what you want on the menu and they’ll get the hint. :) Enjoy! Alex & Adam

My husband and I really enjoy this place. The mixed grill plate is always delicious and the various appetizers as well. It is a family owned restaurant which is lovely as well.

We had a great dinner. Nice friendly atmosphere and the entire dinner was intimate. We had the feta steak and the turkey steak. I would go back.

I know I am going against the mold here, but I wasn’t as impressed with this restaurant as other reviewers. My overall opinion of the place is this: really cozy inside, great patio out back. It makes a great place to grab a drink and some appetizers before going somewhere else to eat. Staff is friendly and service is good. The food however, is just average. I do like their tzaiki, but it doesn’t come with pita bread(only baguette) unless you specifically order – and pay for– pita. The pita is really good, however and worth ordering. There are also some great Greek white wines on the menu that I recommend checking out. As for the entrees, they’re good but by no means the best Greek. The meat tends to be overly salted and often mixed with gristle. On a recent visit, my husband ordered lamb shoulder that stunk up the table and was inedible. I think it is also worth noting that the only reviews of this restaurant are from Americans like me – it’s odd that no Germans have reviewed. When I am craving Greek food, I head to Dionyssos Im Hirsch near Kelly Base(it actually says«Hirsch Weinestube» on the sign.)

This Greek food is amazing! We have been twice in the last three weeks, which says a lot! Here are the highlights: There appears to be seating out back but each time we have gone it was raining. There is not a lot of seating inside, but each time we went(without reservations) we found a seat. No high chairs though. Everyone is very friendly — others mentioned issues with the server’s English and we did not have that problem either time. My husband speaks better German than I do but we both speak as much as we can when we are out. The second time we were there«mom» was there and she was so sweet to our baby — chatting and playing with her throughout dinner. On to the important stuff — drinks and food — excellent! We have tried the tzatziki appetizer and stuffed grape leaves. Love their tzatziki! We had the grilletller and gyros the first time — and I fell in love with the Olympus potatoes on my husband’s plate. I knew next time I would have to get them. So next time we both had the beefteki which was great. The salad that comes before your meal is very filling. As for drinks, my husband has always been satisfied with the beer selection and I stuck with my regular Riesling which was good. We will definitely be back!

Hands down delicious Greek food. This is a MUST if you enjoy greek food. My husband had the gyros with a side of pitas… they had great flavor and came with a side of Tzaziki which was excellent. I had the calamari dish. Sooooo goooood!!! The fries can’t be beat either. If you are looking for excellent Greek food this is it. The family owned restaurant is very friendly and they speak English… but please attempt to speak German first… always!

Taverna Olympia was fantastic! The food was delicious and the service was superb. This is definitely a place that I would visit again for date night. The place is small but the staff are friendly.

We loved Taverna Olympus! I have never had such great Greek food! The potatoes were perfectly golden brown and crispy, the lamb was so tender with flavorful tzatziki sauce, the garlic pita bread was amazing and the baklava was oh so tasty! The owners do not speak much English but are so friendly. They even gave us an after dinner shot! And the atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended if you’re ever in Stuttgart. Prost!

Well the blonde and I were in Stuttgart(from the US), and we were in need of some non-german food for one meal. So we saw this place on Unilocal and decided to check it out. Well let me tell you that the guys there don’t speak English very well, but if you know what you want. then you’ll be good to go. We orderd Gyros and slouvakia, along with sakinaki(breaded and fried cheese} for dinner. Well let’s start the review: — Salads weren’t too bad, fresh vegetables and crunchy — sakinaki was a little different. No oopa by lighting it(maybe this is a Chicago Greek thing? j but it was good. — gyros weren’t what the blonde expected. They didn’t have enough spices or flavor for her, just the lamb flavor. Also came with no pita to eat the gyro meat with. Olympus potatoes were very good. — Soulvaki was pretty good. Nice and tender pork, not overly spiced. The french fries were awesome. For each of the meals we had to order separate pita breads, which we thought would have come with the meal based on our eating out in Greek town in Chicago a bunch of times. The Tzatziki sauce used during the entire meal was very good and I would place it as good as any that I have had. For desert we had baklava. Well it was tasty, BUT very cold. We needed to let it sit about 3 minutes after we got it served. Overall ranking is a 4. They probably would have gotten 5 stars if the Gyro the Blonde had was really good. So, would I go to the place again? You bet I would. I would want to try some of the other items that they have.

Very small inside seating area, but a pretty nice place. The ambiance is authentic Greek/German if you can say there really is such a thing. As Sherry mentioned, the server english was passable, and there were no obsticles to ordering in english. I had the Souvlaki, which was quite good. Also had a glass of the recommended local dry red wine, which was also good. At the conclusion of dinner, the server offered us a shot of ouzo, which we accepted… he brought us all shots and one for himself, complimentary. Overall, i recommend highly..

Greek in Germany? Ok! We were walking the streets in Stuttgart looking for a place one of my coworkers liked to eat, only to find out that it had closed since his last visit. Everyone likes Greek food, right? So in we went. We were just about the only customers, and had the entire(very quaint) back patio to ourselves. The owner was very attentive, and service was good. We never felt rushed, which is one of my favorite things about European restaurants. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had a schnitzel cordon bleu of some sort — all I know was it was fried meat stuffed with ham and cheese, and it was a party in my mouth. All in all, a good find. I’d definitely come back if I was in the area. Maybe I’ll even try something Greek next time.

This Restaurant is one of the first I visited in Germany and it has been really good on every visit. I love the Moussaka here. My son tried the Moussaka even though he didn’t think he liked eggplant, and he loved it. The people are really friendly, and although they don’t speak much English, language is never an obstacle. The food is very good value for money.
