AC Hotel Bella Sky

Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr groß und schon vom Flughafen aus zu sehen. Es hat ein einzigartiges Design und ist gut mit Bus und Bahn zu erreichen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und konnte außer gutem Englisch auch noch ein paar Wörter auf Deutsch. Dem Hotelzimmer hat man leider etwas angesehen, dass es oft genutzt wurde und das Bad ist nur durch eine Glaswand vom Schlafzimmer getrennt. Am besten war eindeutig das riesige Frühstücksbüffet. Sehr große Auswahl an warmen und kalten Speisen. Pro Nacht haben wir pro Person 120 € gezahlt und dafür hat es sich gelohnt. Gerne wieder beim nächsten Kopenhagen Besuch.

What a wonderful hotel! The metro stop is about 400 meters behind the hotel and takes you right to the center of København. The hotel is clean, offers a thorough breakfast buffet, and the staff is so friendly.
Tip for travelers on the road for an extended period of time, there are no laundry facilities on-​site.
Highly recommend, great experience overall!

A very modern and new hotel. Located a bit out of city centre, closer to the airport. There’s a Metero station a 2 minutes walk from the hotel which take you down town in 10 minutes.
Our room was nice, not too big, with a good bed, water boiler, ironing board, mini bar etc.
The biggest minus was breakfast. It was not what you would expect from a hotel this size. If this had been the breakfast of a small «family hotel» with 10 rooms it would be OK, except from the powder-​eggs and the staff not cleaning tables. We had our meal between other people’s dirty plates.

Bella Sky is a huge hotel with a remarkable architecture and it’s attached to a conference center. The hotel is located pretty close to Copenhagen Kastrup Airport and has a metro station nearby, which makes it easy to explore the beauty of Copenhagen.
I absolutely loved this hotel and I stayed in hotels all over Copenhagen the last years and I would call it the best I have ever been to. The rooms are pretty big for Copenhagen hotels. The bathroom and the rain shower are amazing. The beds and pillows are huge and very comfy. The wifi in my room was pretty bad though, no idea why, but it is supposed to have free wifi but I haven’t seen it.
The whole hotel design is very modern and the whole architecture is a real eye catcher when you arrive at the city.
The prices for drinks at the Bella Sky Bar are Danish standard, so nothing cheap. But you get a one million dollar view over the city in return.
Last but not least: the staff and service are excellent. All in all a real recommendation.

Amazing hotels with great amenities. Simply in love with the rooms on the 19^th floor with an eminent view.

Cool and modern! 15 min cab ride from the center of the city. Super cozy bed and pillows. Beautiful shower with running hot water (can’t say the same for my previous hotel!). They actually have a real heavy duty hair blow dryer, not one of those tiny miserable ones that barely warms up. Copenhagen in January is freezing, trust me– you want to dry your hair. Everything else was cool: restaurant, rooftop bar, spa, fitness center. Whatever, they had me at the blowdryer.
Oh! And their breakfast is complete and fresh and beautiful. Fruit, fresh eggs, ham, cheese, bacon, yogurt and cereal. If you can get it included with your stay it is TOTALLY worth it!

This hotel is architecturally interesting from the outside. The strange little globe lights at check-​in are something I would want to buy and take home, but the rooms and the service at the hotel had design flaws
The room had two twin beds, small with round side tables. Round side tables? The large oblique shaped windows had massive blinds (two sets) that roll down with a switch on the wall, but made the room too dark or too light. Room service was via the TV. The menu was limited and flipping through the options was clunky. AND they called you to confirm after you ordered. Why couldn’t I just call and order off a paper menu? This time, technology did not help enhance the experience.
Also, (although they do have conference facilities), this is not in walking distance of the city.

Solid hotel choice with easy access to both downtown Copenhagen and the International airport. Don’t expect much beyond the basic amenities; comfortable bed, black out curtains (for the midnight sun), spherical soap and a pod-​like bathroom in the middle of the room.
I was pleasantly surprised by the views from the Sky Bar restaurant as well as the food! Do not take their recommendation on ordering 7 tapas per person. I was full with only 3. I was disappointed that I couldn’t access the pool without paying for a day pass to the spa. I was also disappointed that they made me purchase an outlet adapter rather than just letting me borrow one.
Overall, the hotel was as good a value as you are going to find in Copenhagen.

Stayed here again and were it not for the fact that I didn’t get a good deal (
, do it 3 or 4 months ahead), I would have probably stayed at another hotel. The primary reason? It’s summer and rates jump up astronomically. If you don’t plan your trip and show up randomly here, you will pay… dearly. But I love this hotel as it’s a symbol (some say quirky) of comfort and modernity unlike many other hotels I’ve patronized. Also, I love being away from congested areas, like the downtown areas of most major cities so the AC Bella is perfect for me.
The vibe to the hotel is avant, simple and understated until you get into your well designed room. Yet it’s not snobby or high-​falutin’ Another reason I like staying away from downtown is I like looking at a panorama of the Copenhagen skyline from my room. You cannot get sprawling views of a city’s skyline if you stay in the city. I do the same thing when going to New York City. I stay in Long Island, Queens or New Jersey and opt for panoramic views of the NYC skyline. Besides that, the AC Bella Sky Hotel is loaded with Art and design innovations everywhere.
The staff are friendly and accomodating. It recently transitioned to a Marriott so there are some «culture» adjustments being made at the front desk. I see some Marriott members irate on Unilocal at how the staff treat them here (they expect free upgrades as did I). Outright the staff automatically charge for larger rooms and some need training. But that’s minor.
Breakfast is more than sufficient, very good with lots of American and Scandinavian choices. The smoked fish and Elderberry Flower or Rhubarb house-​made teas/​drinks are really good additions (look for them chilled in wood bucket)
Visits: 3 (15 nights in 3 visits)
Tip: Some rooms have hardwood floors (dark or light wood, your choice). They don’t cost any more unless you want more space. If you like those, ask for those on the top floor, a corner room on the 23^rd Floor. Most rooms are Euro/​Asian sized. If you prefer a larger space, there are many of those for a price. I’ve stayed in 3 different room types and liked them all very much. The larger rooms/​suites have Bang Olufsen video/​audo systems piped into the bathroom.

Das Hotel zeichnet sich durch eine beeindruckende Architektur, mit welcher es auch schon den ein oder anderen Design-​Preis abgestaubt hat, aus. Zwei Türme, die im 1. und 23. Stock durch einen Flur verbunden sind. Dazu ist das ganze Gebäude leicht gedreht und wirkt, je nach Sonnenlicht, als ob es komplett mit Spiegeln verkleidet wäre. Ziemlich cool. Verkehrstechnisch ist es durch verschiedene Buslinien und die Metro-​Station Bella Center sehr gut angebunden. Das Bella Center selbst (Skandinaviens größtes Ausstellungs– und Konferenzzentrum) ist über Tower 2 direkt mit dem Hotel verbunden.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 19. Stock des Tower 2. Die 19. Etage ist die letzte, die man ohne Preisaufschlag für den tollen Ausblick bekommen kann. Darüber kostet extra. Unser Zimmer verfügte über 1 Doppelbett, 2 Nachttische, 2 Sessel, Schreibtisch, Schrank, Kofferablage ausreichend für 2 Koffer, Minibar (Kaffee + Tee frei), Fön, Bügelbrett. Das Bad war mit Badewanne mit Duschmöglichkeit, Waschbecken, WC, Handtüchern, Seife ausgestattet. Luftzufuhr gibt es nur über eine Klimaanlage, da die Fenster bis zum Boden gehen und sich entsprechend nicht öffnen lassen.
Beim Housekeeping muss ich schon ein bisschen mit dem erhobenen Zeigefinger winken. Die Grundsauberkeit im Zimmer was Bettwäsche, WC, Wanne angeht stimmte, jedoch kann sich ein solches Hotel Fehler wie Löcher in den Handtüchern (die auch noch sichtbar nach vorne hängen), Handtücher und Bettzeug das nicht auf Kante liegt, nicht aufgefüllte Kaffee-​Supplies, bekleckertes und geknicktes Infomaterial, Wasserflecken auf allen Gläsern etc. nicht erlauben. Solche Mängel hätte ich meinen Mädchen früher nicht durch gehen lassen. Das mag für den ein oder anderen Jammern auf hohem Niveau sein aber für einen Gast der hier bis zu 300,00 € für sein Zimmer zahlt muss einfach alles perfekt sein.
Am 1. Abend waren wir erst spät im Hotel und wollten gern was über den Room Service bestellen. Nach dem mich das Front Office 4x versucht hatte an den Room Service durchzustellen und ich gut 20 Minuten in der Warteschleife hing hatte ich keine Lust mehr. Ein Angebot vom FO meine Bestellung aufzunehmen und dem RS weiterzugeben blieb leider aus.
Beim Room Service ist zu beachten, dass die Karte nur nbis 22 Uhr gilt und es danach eigentlich nur noch ein Sandwich-​à-​la-​chef gibt.
Also entschieden wir uns doch noch schnell im Restaurant vorbeizuschauen. Das Balcony war das einzige, welches bis 23 Uhr Küche anbietet. Wir kamen 22.45 Uhr an. Ein Schild zeigte uns, dass wir warten sollen bis wir platziert werden. Mindestens vier Kellner schauten uns an und ignorierten uns. Einer lief irgendwann direkt durch uns durch. Grußlos und ohne jegliche Gesichtsregung. Spätestens da wäre ich eigentlich wieder gegangen aber mein Begleiter hatte so großen Hunger, dass ich meine Verärgerung runter schluckte. Nach 10 Minuten kam endlich eine Kellnerin zu uns. Die Küche würde gleich schließen, wenn wir noch was essen wollen müssten wir uns beeilen. Jawohl! Also Karte gekuckt — nix vegetarisches. Sie fragte in der Küche nach und erstaunlicherweise wurde angeboten Pasta mit Brokkoli zu kochen. Damit hatten wir nicht gerechnet. Die Bierempfehlung war auch sehr gut. Ich entschied mich für das Tatar mit Brotchips. Dazu gab es einen Teller frisch gebackenes, leckeres Brot mit Butter. Zum Glück, sonst wären wir nicht satt geworden. Das Tatar war gut aber hatte zuviel Senf. Die Nudeln waren blanko Bandnudeln, mit blanko Brokkoli und einem Spritzer Öl drüber. Alles für über 50,00 €. Ich kann keinem empfehlen im Hotel zu Essen. Zum Glück wurde die Kellnerin während unseres Abendessens immer freundlicher.
Im Anschluss bekamen wir auf unserem Zimmer noch das Treiben aus der Sky Bar mit. Auch wenn die 4 Etagen drüber war. In den Etagen dazwischen wir die Lärmbelästigung sicher noch lauter sein. Wir stellten einfach den Fernseher etwas lauter und waren eh so ko, dass wir schnell einschliefen und uns nicht weiter daran störten.
Am Folgetag versuchte ich unsere Minibar leeren zu lassen. Auf die erste Info, dass dies nicht möglich sei — keine Ahnung weshalb nicht, in den Hotels in den ich früher gearbeitet habe ging das immer, auch mit dem elektronischen System — wurde ich wieder weiter gestellt und weiter gestellt und versackte ebenso in einer Warteschleife wie am Vortag.
Uns am Empfang selbst anzustellen hätte zuviel zeit gekostet, das das ganze Wochenende über An– und Abreisen en masse waren.
Der Check-​in und –out liefen kurz, knackig, freundlich und kompetent ab.
Im Zimmer gibt es alles was man braucht. Geschlafen haben wir wirklich gut. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Ich hatte immer das Gefühl wie auf Wolken zu liegen. Die Aussicht war selbstredend der Hammer. Einen Abend setzten wir uns einfach auf den Flur im 23. Stock und beobachteten eine Stunde den tollen Sonnenuntergang.
Für einen Aufenthalt kann man das durchaus machen. Ich bin alles in allem doch eher enttäuscht — von der Marke Marriott habe ich mehr erwartet.

Bella Sky is a mixed bag and can be a great value depending on what you are seeking in a hotel in Copenhagen.
By far the best thing going on here is the extensive included breakfast. If you can score a great rate at this hotel, it will be an exceptional value in Copenhagen because of this breakfast alone. Many offerings in a comfortable space. Even though it was packed at the hotel for conference, it was not so bad at breakfast or otherwise.
The room I had was okay, but certainly very basic, and very small for a hotel so far from the city center. The bedding felt sort of cheap, although not uncomfortable. Definitely an IKEA feel to some things. I had a queen bed room on a high floor that had no sitting area, just bed and small desk attached to the wall. The view is nice to see the metro going by, but it is not something that will wow you necessarily.
The elevators are extremely fast, and while they are small, the system is excellent to distribute people to a particular elevator depending on their floor entry. Very much appreciate a hotel of this size doing this right. Never had to wait more than a few seconds at any time of day.
The design is modern, sleek, and interesting. The place is clean and modern, and everything works. Not much wear and tear on anything hotel wide so it is well maintained. Free wi-​fi worked fine with no problems, and they have 4 big mac computers in the lobby to print anything for free.
The staff were all friendly, maybe not polished so to speak, but pleasant and more or less all around accommodating.
Skybar was lively and enjoyable for a 60kr large Carl’s special beer with a view. Nice to have at the hotel I thought.
Shuttle to and from CPH very useful. I arrived past 10:45pm and was able to easily find and catch this shuttle took 10min right to the front door of the hotel.
Bella Sky Metro stop is a solid 10min walk and gets you into the city center in about 10min flat. Very very easy. Just don’t pay too much this is a good choice. I would stay here every time at a good rate.

It’s Danish design to the hilt. Only 3 years old at the time of this posting and a favorable location if you are leaving the next day for a trip as its proximity to the airport is 9 minutes away with a free shuttle. Free breakfast (very nice) is included and you should take advantage of that as all meals in DK are expensive.
I thought the front desk did an excellent job with my requests and the housekeeping staff was attentive and went beyond to please.
The Sky Bar was very cool but the wait staff never approached me for an order and I had to go up for first service at bar. The lounge in the lobby had better than average service, but they tended to be distracted when a freind or co-​worker came over to chat. I saw many guests looking at them in disbelief waiting to be served a drink.
Other than that, it was a reasonably priced hotel and will return.

The rooms are tiny and over priced. The room service menu has almost nothing on it. The bathroom is surrounded by glass so when one person goes to bathroom there is zero privacy. We had lukewarm water at best in the shower.
Beautiful and unique architecture but one you get past that it goes downhill.

Terrible Service at Restaurant, RUDE and PUSHY Hostess
We were in Copenhagen for 5 days because my husband’s conference here. We came to Bella Sky for dinner at the Balcony Restaurant one night. The hotel looked all flashy with lots of décor to attract visitors attention. Ok, we fell for it. BIG MISTAKE! The service at the Balcony Restaurant was TERRIBLE. We waited for OVER A HOUR for our food. I ordered the pasta and my husband ordered the fish. The pasta arrived cold, and the fish was over cooked and dry. The sparkling water we ordered never arrived.
When I complained to the hostess (blond girl slightly chubby), she did not even apologize. At the end, she asked us to walk up to the front register to pay, while our neighboring tables were all able to pay at their own tables. Seriously, what kind of sit-​down restaurant with this kind of price ask their guests to walk up to the front to pay?!
The bill charged us something we did not order and we corrected her. She reversed the order but said something to her colleague in Danish and both of them laughed while we were standing there waiting for our receipt to print. Extremely rude behavior to your already frustrated guests.
All in all, a nice evening RUINED by the experience here. DO NOT waste your money and time here. Cold and unfriendly staff, rude hostess, long wait, mediocre food, incorrect charges, NOTHING GOOD to say about this place. AVOID at all cost.

Little but of distance from the city center, so would need public transportation but the hotel itself is great. Friendly staff and cool atmosphere!

Ich war letzte Woche für 3 Tage im Bella Sky und war anfangs sehr angetan. Das Hotel hat einen netten Stil, ist recht neu und auch das Personal war recht freundlich.
Das Highilight sind sicher die Zimmer, die einen sehr sauberen Eindruck gemacht haben. Zwar stimmt es, dass man aus bestimmten Winkeln (ganz oben und unten) vom Wohnraum ins Bad schauen kann. Man muss sich dafür aber schon ‘anstrengen’. Zudem gibt es kleine Vorhänge, die man von aussen zu ziehen kann. Ich würde mir eh kein Zimmer mit jemandem teilen, wenn mich das stören würde. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt war das freie Wlan im ganzen Hotel. Extreeem Praktisch.
Soweit so gut. Leider gibt es auch ein dickes Minus, die Essensqualität. Bereits der Frühstücksraum hat ein extremes Kantinenflair, war immer total überfüllt und bot nur unterdurchschnittliches Frühstück an. Alle warmen Speisen waren eiskalt und Personal war dünn gesäht.
Leider ist aber auch das Essen an der Lobbybar nicht besser. Der Burger war trocken und die Fries mindestens 10min zu lange im Fett oder aufgewärmt worden.
Dazu kamen dann noch drei Buffets als Mittags und Abendessen, die allesamt eins schlechter als das andere waren. Ich war schon auf dutzenden Events, aber es ist mir noch nie passiert, dass ich so oft einen nur halb abgegessenen Teller stegengelassen habe. Schlechteste Eventverpflegung ever, das ist mal sicher. Meine Waage hat es gefreut ;-)
Fazit: Gutes Hotel zum schlafen. Essen gehen sollte man aber vermeiden.

Das Hotel ist ein klassisches Business Hotel mit einer sehr interessanten Architektur (2 Türme, die mit Brücken miteinander verbunden sind. Auf jeden Fall nicht zu verfehlen. Es gibt einen direkten Zugang zum Bella Center, so dass es ideal ist wenn man dort auf einem Event ist. Das Hotel ist modern und die Zimmer sind für ein Businesshotel absolut in Ordnung und auch angenehm. Der Nassbereich ist ausreichend groß und die Zimmer auch. Es gibt verschiedene Restaurants und die speziell zu erwähnende Sky Bar. Abzüge würde ich lediglich für das Frühstück machen — ich denke da sind die meisten Jugendherbergen besser. Ja, es ist ein großes Hotel, aber das kann man sicherlich besser lösen. Reine Massenabfertigung, es gibt noch nicht einmal guten Kaffee.

I have only visited Sky Bar. Great view, but interior is like from bad 80’s. Still, it is open and free to come in, so why not. The view compensates it all :).

Großes Kongresshotel, mit einer beindruckenden (verdrehten) Architektur. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und die Betten bequem. Die Minibar hält ausreichend Red Bull bereit, die Preise sind moderat.
Das Frühstück ist gut, aber jeden Tag gleich. Ich hatte hier vier schöné Tage. Die Nähe zur Metro, führt in ca. 15 Minuten in die City.

The view of Copenhagen from the hotel is absolutely stunning (especially at the 23^rd floor). The room was clean, big and comfortable, bathroom with shower, TV and AC.
The breakfast was great with all you can need in terms of food.
Metro stop (Bella Center) is located 100m of the hotel, which is much convenient.
I would recommend.

I’ve been staying in the town center the last few times I’ve been in town. Recently, hotel prices shot up there and I had no idea why. So I took a gamble and stayed on the outskirts. Boy did it pay off. Modern, sleek, nice and clean. All the things I want in a hotel. It was way cheaper and the cab ride was cheaper too, which if you’ve ever ridden in cabs here, they’re spendy. Too bad it wasn’t on the same line as the Metro from Kastrup, that would have made this 5 stars. It takes a bit to get into Kongens Nytorv but I think the tradeoff is good. You can get discount metro tickets at the front desk too. Breakfast in the morning is also solid and I found the folks working here to all be helpful. This is now a contender for places for me to stay as the outside locale gives way to the modern, clean functional + metro availability.

When you travel almost every week of the year you learn a thing or two about hotels. Here’s the short of it: DO NOT STAY HERE.
If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to get locked into an IKEA after hours, this is it. Boring cheap crap that easily breaks down, non-​existent or plastic amenities and a forbiddingly cold service model.
In the middle of nowhere surrounded by endless rows of empty parking spaces, yet you have to pay a fortune to park in them (note: the views, even from the premium corner rooms — xx00 and xx20 — are of the parking spaces)
I stayed here with a group for work. We had serious maintenance issues. The hotel did worse than nothing. They fumbled the report from one person to the next person for days. Each one saying someone else would deal with the problems, yet leaving things unresolved. What other hotel in the world says «we made a note of it» day after day after day and leaves you in the lurch?
Finally we reached top management after they said they returned from a vacation. What other hotel in the world puts all decision power in one person who then leaves? Oh, are we staying in your hotel during your «vacation»? So sorry for the inconvenience to you. Of course we’ll pay full price for no response and no resolution.
A week after we left we received an apology and an invitation to come back and stay again for more mistreatment!
Stupidly one of our group fell for this. They returned for a second stay and we laughed endlessly when they told us the room they were granted as compensation also had maintenance issues. Instead of vacation, as an excuse, this time they were told it was a holiday — no one would be able to fix their room AND again they weren’t moved.
How would you like to sit in a non-​operational room while hotel maintenance is on their «holiday».
In other words, this is mismanagement at its finest. Fingers pointing among staff because no one takes responsibility, authorities who can do something are absent and arrogant, and it’s all wrapped into false pride.
«At least it’s new» doesn’t compensate for everything. And it’s not even new anymore. Stay in a hotel downtown. Avoid this place unless you think buying day-​old 7 – 11 bread for 5-​star restaurant steak prices is a fit for you.
Almost forgot. The Spa is a joke. Staffed by kids with less than a year of experience who will say «Eat the fruit if you want but I wouldn’t. Quality is bad.» Orly? Why don’t you ffffing fix the problem instead of just sitting and complaining about it to the guests. Awful awful hotel.

Leider fühlt man sich hier durchgängig zweitklassig. Für’s Frühstück wurden wir in einen Kongressraum ‘ausgelagert’ entsprechend schlecht war das Ambiente, die Auswahl und der Service (der nicht vorhanden war). Selbst die Hotelbar war Selbstbedienung wie in einer Mensa. Sowohl Skybar als auch Lobby-​Bar schließen um Mitternacht und man wurd an die Minibar verwiesen. Service insgesamt leider sehr unfreundlich. Das Beste war die sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung.

Vier Tage im Bella-​Hotel anlässlich einer Geschäftsreise.
Positiv: Skandinavische Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit, liegt sehr nah am Airport, schickes Design, modernste Ausstattung. Fitness-​Center auf dem aktuellsten Stand und ein hervorragend schnelles und stabiles W-​LAN auf dem Zimmer (wenn viele Geschäftsreisende auf einmal in einem Hotel einfallen, dann leidet in den allermeisten Fällen das W-​LAN, habe ich fast immer und überall auf der Welt so erlebt).
Negativ: Frühstücksbüfett in Dänemark ohne Lachs geht ja eigentlich gar nicht.
Fazit: Völlig in Ordnung, sehr zu empfehlen.

Für unseren Ostertrip nach Kopenhagen entschieden wir uns für dieses Hotel und wurden nicht enttäuscht.
Das Hotel ist ein modernes Designhotel mit 23. Stockwerken.
Eine Reservierung ab der 19. Etage kostet extra.
Wir hatten aber Glück und haben zwei Zimmer im 16. Stock bekommen. Hier war die Aussicht schon überwältigend
Die Zimmer sahen ebenfalls gut aus, waren aber eher zweckmäßig eingerichtet.
Vom Hotel braucht man ca. 5 Minuten bis zur Metro und dann nochmals 10 Minuten in die City.
Einzig negativ war das Frühstück am ersten Morgen. Man merkte, dass Ostern ist und es hatte eher den Eindruck einer Massenabfertigung. Das Essen war zwar lecker (Besonders das Brot, sehr frisch), aber schnell vergriffen. Glücklicherweise war dieser Zustand an den andern beiden Tagen nicht mehr bzw. gingen aufgrund der Zeitumstellung viele später essen.

AVOID! Cancels bookings on the same day!
My father wanted to have a nice lunch with my mother, me and my wife for his 64^th birthday. Him and my mom had wanted to go and eat at the restaurant at the new Bella Sky Hotel since driving past the site when they were building it. So he called and booked a table for 4 people for lunch on his birthday (a Sunday). We could get a table at 2:30 pm and he took it. He wanted to make sure that everything was alright, so a week before the date he called and asked if there were any problems; if they were SURE that they could handle late lunch and got a positive response: «Everything was fine, table was booked and we could have a late lunch to celebrate my father’s birthday».
At around 11 am on the same day the phone rings, some person from Bella Sky: «We are cancelling your reservation!». No excuse, no apology, no reason, not EVEN an offer to TRY and find us a table for lunch on the same day at another restaurant. Just a rudely worded call to the tune of «Screw you guys!» They weren’t canceling because of a waist-​deep e. coli sludge in the kitchen or that the hotel was full of bed bugs the size of cats, maybe they were overbooked? Who knows?
My father was shaken and asked if they could at least help with booking a table for 4 at ANY other Copenhagen restaurant with a view? «No, we don’t work with them, click» The sound of Bella Sky not caring the least for their guests. And mind you, this is not a $ 10 coke and sandwich place. Lunch with drinks for 4 people would probably be in the $ 400-​$ 500 range. We aren’t a mob family, we don’t have media connections so I guess they felt that they could just piss us in the face without any repercussions.
PLEASE! Do NOT give this place your business. They do not care THE LEAST about you and they will cancel your booking on the same day, without ANY warning and the voice on the phone basically throwing you a «Fxxx you! Write an email and complain, we don’t really care».
So my old man, bereft of his birthday party sat down and wrote a letter to the management at the hotel. Not a letter demanding money, not a letter demanding a free lunch. A letter asking for JUST an apology for canceling the table reservation for his birthday party at their restaurant less than 4 hours before a Sunday lunch reservation“
Two weeks later… No answer. Not a squeek. Nothing. I guess they figured that people without well-​known surnames only exist for them to piss on and ignored us. So I reiterate PLEASE do not give this HORRID place your business. Stay away. There are many other lovely restaurants in Copenhagen, there are MANY other hotels (most of them in MUCH better locations).

The hotel is just as beautiful as the pictures on the website. I didn’t find the customer service to be excellent, that’s the only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars. I expected help with my luggage and a more pleasant front desk experience. The wifi didn’t work in the room, so we had to sit in the hallway or go down to the lobby to do video calls which was pretty inconvenient.
The bathroom situation is not suitable for a business trip with a co-​worker of the opposite sex. Taking turns leaving the room for bathroom or showers wasn’t the best experience. Also, when we asked for 2 beds, they give you 2 twin size beds pushed together so it looks like one. We had to move the furniture around before bed, which wasn’t fun after 18 hours in airports.

Super hôtel à Copenhague!
Certes l’hôtel n’est pas dans Copenhague même mais en 3 – 5 stations de métro vous y êtes. Il est très récent (2008) et super moderne. Il y a 23 étages (avec un pont suspendu entre les 2 tours) et donc une superbe vue sur Copenhague, les champs, le parc éolien, les monuments, … Bref tout ce qui fait le Danemark! L’architecture et le design de cet hôtel sont à couper le soufflé autant à l’extérieur qu’à l’intérieur.
Une fois à l’intérieur, l’espace, les murs végétaux et la musique lounge donnent un sentiment de calme, de sérénité. La chambre avec lit double est très sympa et surtout très fonctionnelle et moderne (mobilier design scandinave très joli). Tout est «online»: bouton pour dire né pas déranger, ou vous pouvez passer faire la chambre, commende du room-​service via la TV, … Il y a un mini-​bar complet (payant) ainsi qu’une bouilloire avec café et thé offert. Le room-​service est un peu lent mais comme on attends dans la chambre avec une superbe vue, ça né dérange pas! Le petit-​déjeuner est super bon et très très copieux!
Il y a un bar (pas testé) au 23ème étage qui doit être bien sympa!
Le personnel est très agréable, parle anglais parfaitement et réponds avec le sourire aux demandes que l’on peut avoir.
Il est situé à moins d’une vingtaine de minutes de l’aéroport en métro/​train.
Hormis si vous cherchez un hôtel de caractère, situé plein centre ville avec une histoire, le Bella Sky vous offre une belle escale à Copenhague… Allez-​y! :)

Very expensive rooms. I had a room on the 20^th floor and had a great view of the city of Copenhagen. The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable, although a little narrow for american standards. The bathroom had all the creature comforts but no bath tub. They had a glass wall separating the bathroom and the bedroom which was a little weird. The elevators were pretty cool I never had to wait for long and they took me to the 20^th floor pretty fast. The rooftop bar is very nice. The restaurant is great but a little pricy. The metro is a short walk from the hotel, it will cost you around $ 20 for a round trip ticket from this hotel to downtown. I had a lot of expensive electronics in my room, laptop, cell phone, camera, tablets etc and I never locked any of it and it was totally safe. They do have a safe in the room for your valuables. I do have to say that there were some allagents in the air in the hotel, it made me sneeze and messed up my sinus. DK is a damp and cold place in the winter months so I suspect it could be because of that.

Très bon hôtel bien situé entre l’aéroport et le centre. Station de métro à 2 pas puis une petite dizaine de mn pour atteindre le centre. Le personnel est souriant dans l’ensemble. Chambre très propre et entretenue avec très belle vue sur copenhague, nous avons été surclassé sans frais supplementaire. Leur sky bar est très agréable mais là attention ça se paye.

Mein Partner und ich waren über ein verlängertes Wochenende hier und buchten das Hotel aufgrund der tollen Bildansicht und auch der guten Bewertungen. Vor Ort angekommen ist man schon ziemlich beeindruckt von diesem Prachtexemplar was ein Hotel sein soll! Die Architektur ist atemberaubend und macht einen ziemlich tollen Eindruck. Wenn man in das Hotel geht lässt der Eindruck keineswegs nach, es wirkt alles sehr luxuriös und chic. Man erhält einen sehr netten Empfang, toll fanden wir das wir trotz zwei Stunden zu frühem Ankommens sofort ins Zimmer konnten. Es gibt fünf Fahrstühle, die sich nach eingeben des gewählten Floors bewegen; auf dem Bildschirm wird einem angezeigt welcher Fahrstuhl (A-​E) kommt. Die Zimmer sind praktisch eingerichtet, Bett, kleiner Tisch, zwei Stühle, Schrank, es sieht toll aus aber Geräumigkeit wird eher klein geschrieben. Das Badezimmer ist im Zimmer, durch die Glasfront einsehbar (man sollte sich also nicht schämen wenn man zu zweit eincheckt), die Dusche ist durch eine zweite Glasfront getrennt, WC und Waschbecken– insgesamt das Bad, sind schon sehr stylish. Der Ausblick im Zimmer ist selbstverständlich traumhaft! Am Anfang enttäuscht über den siebten Stock, zerschlug sich diese bei einem tollen Anblick über ganz Kopenhagen!
Wenn man sich in den 23. Stock traut hat man einen noch tolleren Anblick über die Hauptstadt. Der Grund warum es von uns nur vier Sterne gibt, ist die Sauberkeit. Bei Ankunft fanden wir im Bad noch eine Menge Haare und die Glasfronten waren fleckig und teilweise richtig schmutzig. Das Hotel wirbt damit täglich alle Handtücher zu wechseln, das war bei uns allerdings nicht der Fall. Auch wurde unser WC seit Ankunft nicht geputzt. Noch ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist das ausschließlich englisch-​sprechende Personal, es wird mit deutsch-​sprachigem Personal geworben, vllt hatten die bei unserem Aufenthalt alle frei :-) Letztendlich kann ich englisch, deshalb war es nicht ganz so schlimm aber für ältere Gäste finde ich das schon schwierig. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen, viel mehr kann man nicht sagen. Kleiner Tipp für die, die mit der Metro in die City wollen. An dem Fahrkartenautomat auf Billet, Voksen und 2 Zonen klicken, damit kommt man bis zum K. Nytorv und ist mitten im Zentrum. Nicht zu früh lösen da die Gültigkeit genau für die Fahrzeit bis zum Ausstieg geplant ist. (M1 Richtung Vanløse)
Wer weiter will braucht mindestens 3 Zonen Tickets. Alles in Allem waren wir zufrieden und würden auch wieder kommen!

Sehr schönes modernes Hotel, verkehrsgünstig zwischen Flughafen und Stadt und direkt neben dem Messegelände gelegen. Die Stadt erreicht man bequem mit der U Bahn, die 5 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt ist.
Frühstück top, essen kann man an der Bar im Foyer, dort Kleinigkeiten aber sehr gut, und in zwei Restaurants
sowie in der Bar im 23. Stock mit super Aussicht. Wir aßen im Restaurant im EG, gut und mehr als reichhaltig. Preise wie in Hotels üblich hoch, aber noch angemessen

Ich war im Rahmen der Audi Experience Days 2012 im Bella Sky und bin absolut begeistert.
Der erste Eindruck bei der Anfahrt war der Hammer, ein echt schräges Hotel. Man sieht es schon von weit her, was bei seinen 23 Stockwerken auch kein Wunder ist.
Der Check-​in lief völlig entspannt ab mein Koffer waren schon auf dem Zimmer.
Das Designer-​Zimmer im 6. Stock war hell, sauber und freundlich. Das erste, was auffiel, waren die großen raumhohem Fenster, die einem einen wahnsinns Ausblick bieten. Die Raumtemperatur wird über die Klimaanlage geregelt, da die Fesnter nicht zu öffnen sind.
Gratis W-​Lan, TV (internationale Sender) etc. sind im Zimmer vorhanden der Fernseher ist gleichzeitig auch eine Info-​Zentrale für alles, was man über das Hotel etc. wissen möchte (man wird sogar mit deinem Namen vom Fernseher begrüßt).
Das Bad war ausreichend groß, sauber und gepflegt. es waren ausreichend handtücher vorhanden und auch Duschbad, Bodylotion, Shampoo und Spülung.
Das Bett war etwas weich, was allerdings den erholsamen Schlaf nicht stören konnte.
Das Frühstücks-​Buffet war mehr als ausreichend und lies keine Wünsche offen.
Der Aufenthalt im Bella Sky war wunderbar, auch die etwas außerhalb von Kopenhagen liegende Lage konnte dies nicht stören.
Ich kann das Hotel ohne Bedenken jedem weiter empfehlen.

It’s not exactly centrally located, but using the metro this is no problem. We were able to check in early a godsend. The room was sort of clean but could have been better. It’s a Family Room, size is nice for two

I really had no idea where to stay in Copenhagen since it was my first time ever. As I kept looking up and down TripAdvisor and KAYAK before my trip, I saw a lot of premium pricing in the central city area as expected. I just noticed that Bella Sky looked very sleek and modern but with more reasonable rates (about $ 167 per night). The reason is that it’s a lot closer to the airport than it is to the city, and my big question was whether it would be worthwhile taking their metro back and forth in order to see the main sights. I had visions of the aging crusty seats for which BART has become renowned.
Fortune smiled upon me as it turned out to be one of the smarter bookings I made on my trip. First, the hotel is very state-​of-​the-​art with the tilted twin towers hard to miss since it appears to be the only high-​rise for miles around. My 12^th-​floor room was quiet and elegantly modern with wooden floors and designer fixtures (see photos). Second, the Bella Center metro station was a quick five-​minute walk from the hotel, and Copenhagen’s super-​clean metro system is probably the most efficient I’ve experienced in Europe, especially if you buy a three-​day Copenhagen card to cover your fares.
It’s just four to six stops away from the major city stations where you either get off or take the train to your destination. I found it very easy to get around especially since the metro is computer-​operated ²⁴⁄₇. Service was not totally perfect, for instance, it took forever to get my luggage out of storage before leaving to the airport. The restaurant closes early on weeknights, around 9PM, so late-​night bites are not an option unless you plan in advance. But then again, there is a mini-​market, the concierge staff was helpful, and the free WiFi was a nice bonus. I highly recommend the Bella Sky if you don’t mind the distance to the city proper.

das größte Hotel Skandinaviens ist schon von außen ein beeindruckendes Bauwerk mit den 2 Türmen&der schrägen Verbindungsbrücke.Schräg trifft es in Bezug auf die Archtiktur sowieso gut denn auch die Türme selber sind schief, was dem ganzen eine unglaubliche Silhouette gibt. Von der Empfangshalle,über die Sky-​Bar bis zu den Zimmer ist das Hotel fantastisch aber es gibt auch ein paar Kleinigkeiten zu bemängeln:Der Preis ist etwas zu hoch (wir hatten noch Glück mit 150EUR pro Nacht, ist etwa die Hälfte des üblichen Preises), da das Hotel etwas außerhalb des Zentrums liegt ist man fast gezwungen dort zu Essen&bei 30 Piepen für nen, zugegebenermaßen guten Burger, heben nicht unbedingt die Stimmung. Die Tassen in unserem Zimmer waren dreckig, das w-​lan funktionierte nur bedingt&obwohl wir ein Doppelzimmer hatten gab es nur einen Satz Handtücher, was aber nach einem Anruf an der Rezeption sofort behoben wurdeDie Minibar hat nen fiesen Trick weil Getränke als getrunken gelten sobald man die Flaschen bewegt denn die stehen auf Kontakten&sie landen sofort auf der Zimmerrechnung, also Obacht wenn man was in die Minibar legen möchte.Angesichts der Tatsache das es im Doppelbett nur eine Decke gibt sollte man sich schön mögen wenn man ein Zimmer teilt aber all diese Sachen werden aufgewogen mit einer grandiosen Aussicht die wir aus dem 17. Stock hatten, freundlichem Personal, 3 deutschen Tv-Sendern&der Anfahrt mit der Fahrerlosen U-Bah.Fazit:definitiv ein tolles Erlebnis hier zu übernachten aber nur wenn es ein Angebot gibt
