This is a little bar/restaurant not far from the main drag in Prague that serves plenty of beer and other local fare. Came here with a huge group so that automatically helped give the place a lively ambiance. Add the accordion player and you have yourself a little Czech party. With all that in mind I had a pretty good experience here. The prices are reasonable given its proximity to some of the major sights of Prague(though you still need to take a little walk from key areas). The service here was mixed. Some folks were friendly, some were not. Maybe it was the fact I drank a lot of local Czech beer that night and had a heck of a good time, but my overall memory of this place was that the basement area had a pretty dark, cozy atmosphere which was different from the brighter dining area on the main floor. The bathrooms here was clean and believe me you’ll need it given all the good beer you’ll likely be drinking here. All in all a pretty decent experience.

Found this place walking by and were indices by the pretty interior, handmade metal work light fixtures and big solid furniture. Started off with a fantastic dark beer. They are a brewery so it is their own. Then ordered up the roasted ribs and an order of pierogi(potato dumplings). Everything was fanatic. Homemade pierogi with a little butter, crispy fried onions, and sour cream. Best I’ve had! Ribs were nicely flavored and well cooked; slide off the bone. Accompanied by fresh horseradish and some nice mustard. Great experience and some of the best Czech food we had in Prague!

The server was very friendly and guided us through the menu. We ordered the pork knuckle which came with horseradish and mustard and was plenty of food for two hungry people. The red peppers on the side were delicious! I also ordered the goulash in a bread bowl which was very flavorful as well.

Great restaurant off the beaten track in Prague! Since it was not far away from our hotel, we were lucky to find one true gem of the city. It’s an old brewery so you have to try the beer! it’s great with wooden furniture which contributes to the nice and homely atmosphere. We ordered beef & beer goulash with dumplings! Awesome! ****
