What a great discovery while visiting Prague! This microbrewery was recommended by a local who is training to be a beer judge. They only brew small batches, and the night we went had 3 draft options. Each was brewed with a different local herb, including: Sage Stout, Tribulus Ale, and Seabuckhorn Ale. They were all INCREDIBLE! I love that the Czechs serve their draft beers directly after pouring, with a massive head. The idea is that the sweet foam balances the bitterness and hoppiness of the settled liquid. So you should really just start drinking it from the get go! There is only one server and one chef, so things might take a little long. But come on — you are getting a genuine experience. I could not stop singing the praises of the chef to our waitress. He prepared each item as something worth calling home about. We shared a potato pancake, which was a unique crispy change from the potato dumplings we have had all week. As well as the pork ribs and beef cheeks. Ribs were falling off the bone and had a great glaze. Beef cheeks melted in your mouth… i cut them with the side of my fork. For dessert we got both options. Chocolate fondant with beer ice cream and fresh raspberries. TDF! The cake was ooey gooey inside. The beer ice cream was not overpowering and had an espresso porter flavor. The second item was a «cookie with cream cheese, strawberries, and vanilla crumble». Complete understatement. This was the best dessert I’ve had in Prague! Like a sponge tart that had the batter blended with cheesecake batter before the whole thing was baked. I can’t describe it. Just get it and be glad you did. Everything was very reasonably priced. Beer a bit more expensive than a local Pilsner, but you get so much more flavor. I would go back in a heartbeat if given more time in the city. If you read this far, you will probably go. So let me warn you — bring cash! They are a small, local establishment. No cards. And without wifi on the streets, its hard to find an ATM.

Horrible service, worst whiskey and creepers. Not impressed, there is much more in this city don’t settle here. The look is what will draw you but once inside you’ll see that looks are not everything.
