Bistro & shop no. 19 is home bussines one of the Prague family. Owner Kristina Netíková is very nice and you can often see her alone at the bar. Food cooks her dad and upstair in the same buildinf is also architectural office of her man. They have great home made food, using season local ingredients. They also preparing food for vegetarians. For the lunch come here mainly students from nearby art schools like FAMU, Academy of Performing Arts, Applied Arts and then architects and lawyers from nearest offices. This place also works as a shop of designer porcelain and glass, so you can purchase the service need by Jiří Pelcl. The interior is simple, minimalist, but still playful that it complement designer chairs such as Vitra, coming from the owner’s private collection. Street(Karolína Světlá), where the bistro is located, is very interesting, because is here lots of great bars, cafes and designer shops with designer pieces from czech artists. On the corner is a wonderful bookstore Kafka book shop with books on art, so I suggest you also come here, when you go to bistro for food. They have Italian coffe Vescovi in here.
