I love love this place. They have steady dishes and then have novelties from city to city. I know they branches in a few countries. Every single branch I’ve been to has been amazing.
Service is tip notch… staff makes honest suggestions, they warned me about size of certain dishes. Other suggestions were detailed on food ingredients and flavors.
The best thing is the variety of new cuisine dishes along with traditional Peruvian plates with slight Gaston twist. So far have tasted many things on menu and nothing has been short of great.
It is not a low price place but not ultra expensive for the quality and portion size you get. I’ll continue to visit any chance I get and country I see them!

The food was very delicious. I tried their Lomo Saltado (recommended as the best dish in-​house) and it was really good. The meat was very well cooked, soft and fresh. The combination of the ingredients with vegetables and the meat was perfect. The dish has a combo of sautéed vegetables, great pieces of meat, fries in wedges shape, and rice with corn.
If you ar looking to experience authentic Peruvian cuisine I recommend going there.

Al llegar al lugar se notaba lo lleno que se encontraba, sin embargo pudimos encontrar mesa para 4 rápidamente. Pedimos una entrada muy buenas rellenas de ají de gallina. Fondo de variados platos peruanos muy ricos, pero quizás demasiado abundantes. Nos quedamos con las ganas de postre, pues no nos hubieran cabido.
La atención es excelente, dieron precisas recomendaciones. Los jugos destacaron.

Ich kann dieses Restaurant ebenfalls empfehlen wenn man spanisch spricht oder jemanden dabei hat der dies kann. Die Menükarte ist leider in keiner anderen Sprache verfügbar. Wäre ich alleine gewesen, wäre ich total aufgeschmissen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und man sagt das es eigentlich sehr scharf ist. Das kann ich von meinem Essen nicht behaupten. Die Portionen sind relativ gross. Ich, als Frau, habe meine Portion nicht geschafft. Der Service ist soweit ich es sagen kann ebenfalls gut.

I was so happy to find Tanta on the top floor of the Mall costanera!!! They have the same menu in Peru, Spain, and Chile and the quality consistent with the amazing gastronomy expected in Peru. tamalito verde, chicken soup (ayitade gallina), and ceviche Classico are on point! Their ceviche is comparable with what you find at higher end spots like La Mar etc. best tamale I’ve ever had was at Tanta– and I’ve had me some tamales in my time :)

Este es uno de los restaurantes peruanos que son una apuesta segura. La carta tiene gran variedad de platos, el restaurant es grande, y lo mejor es la terraza al fondo del salón, en el piso 5 del Costanera Center.
Para mi sin duda no es el mejor restaurante peruano de Santiago, pero sus platos están ricos y es fácil encontrar sitio. Por su ubicación en los Mall, es bastante más accesible y siempre es bueno tener una referencia de donde comer en estos macro espacios de las compras.
Para mi lo mejor de su carta son sus jugos y los tallarines con lomo saltado o el arroz chaufa con mariscos, ya que tienen muy buen sabor y la cantidad de lomo o de mariscos que te ponen respectivamente está muy bien. Con respecto a las porciones hay que tener cuidado y no emocionarse pidiendo, ya que los platos son bastante grandes, por lo que si no estás muy hambriento, mejor olvidarse de entradas.
El precio no es muy alto, un plato de fondo con un jugo puede estar saliendo por unas 10 o 12 lucas, dependiendo del fondo que pidas.
