Here at Saucers Café we specialize in great gourmet sandwiches and wraps. We also offer a great variety of pizzas, salads, and appetizers. One thing we are very famous for is our tea program. We have over 30 different types of loose leaf tea on hand for a great cup of perfectly brewed tea. We also offer a seasonal variety of tea lattes from our teapresso. An espresso machine designed specifically for the perfect brewing time of tea, in less than 40 seconds! I guess the one thing we are most known for has got to be the «Peanut Thai Wrap». A delicious mixture of carrots, bean sprouts, lettuce, noodles and chicken. Wrapped in a flour tortilla shell with a dash of peanuts and our house made, super special peanut Thai sauce.

History

Established in 1999.

Saucers Café was started in 1999 as a little neighborhood café. Since its humble beginnings, through a series of transplanting and renovating, has become a fully licensed, 65 seat restaurant. Standing the test of time Saucers has become one of the longest running Academy Road restaurants. In our opinion, the best!

Having grown up in the neighborhood, I have very fond memories of Academy Road. Though I have since moved away from the street, my business partner Dave Schultz and I are more than ecstatic to continue to be a part of this community. In addition to our friends and relatives from the neighborhood that visit us daily, we love to hear about new guests all the time. Be sure to let us know if you have not been to our place before.
