Nitro cold brew, say what?! I’m from Oregon and a stumptown cold brew kind of gal, so I had to try this when I saw it. Annnnd it was so amazing I came two days I a row while visiting Victoria for the weekend. It was so smooth and delicious, no additives needed at all! Baristas were super nice. Yummy pastries. Beautiful latte art. I can’t wait to return on my next visit to Victoria.

This little place was essentially my office while living in Victoria. Great décor. Music playing was always good. An exotic range of coffees to choose from. Baristas were always friendly and helpful when I had a tourist question about the city. There is a lot to see and explore in the area as well.

I popped in on Sunday morning hoping for a cold brew as a tourist from Oregon. I found cold brew on nitro! It was about $ 4 I think and I didn’t specify a size. She did warn me before creaming and sugaring to taste it first. I still added simple syrup but I did go super light on the cream. It was okay! I have only had Stumptown on nitro before. This wasn’t as smooth as I prefer but it was creamier than most. We talked for a few minutes about the beans and roasting. I could tell this place was legit in their bean knowledge. They knew more than me. Ha! They also had a trophy for barista-ing. I enjoyed this little experience. The atmosphere was super cute like Silver Lake or some other airy boho hamlet. Lots of wood and white space. I’d definitely recommend this place for a cuppa joe.

Great coffee, great Baristas, loved the shop. We went two days in a row while on holiday. first day I got their Seasonal Maple Cream & Coffee recommended by the barista; such a nice treat. the next day I got a pour over coffee, it was perfect Black, it needed nothing.

This is one of the best places for coffee in Victoria! The baristas are so friendly and helpful and the coffee is delicious every time. I am picky about my coffee, it must be smooth, rich and bold. A lot of other places in town are hit and miss but not Hey Happy. They only carry the best coffee beans from roasters who take care with the roasting process and don’t burn the beans like most other roasters do. If you care about your coffee, this is an excellent choice in Victoria.

Hey Happy makes the best mochas. I have had a few in town where they use store-bought chocolate milk or the espresso was bitter and you regretted you paid $ 4.50 for a drink you wanted to throw out. At last my search is over!

I love this place! First of all, let me just saw how much i love the simple and modern design of this coffee shop! It made me so happy as I walked into the shop, no wonder it is called«Hey Happy». The Cold brew was amazing(if you are one of those people who doesn’t know the difference between iced coffee and a cold brew, you must try to cold brew here). There are a couple tables out in the back, which you can sit and overlook the courtyard. When I was there, there was live music. Give this place a try! Maybe you will fall in love like I did.

I suppose I got my coffee fix in Victoria. Interior was a bit unoriginal and felt somewhat poser-ish. Staff was not that friendly but they weren’t unfriendly either. It seems Victoria in general is neither hot nor cold. I would give 3 stars if this was in LA. Since they are starting off, giving room to improve. I guess I am torn because I was just glad this was available in Victoria so bonus star. Hey Happy, let’s get more happy, eh?

Visiting from the mainland, I set out to try the best of what Victoria had to offer during a recent trip. On the coffee front, Hey Happy reigned supreme. Each cup was meticulously crafted by very friendly staff, with bean offerings that are diverse and top-tier. Further, the space itself was also quite pleasant. While I didn’t order anything to couple with my coffee, the pastries looked equally delicious. I will definitely be back on my next visit to the island and highly recommend Hey Happy.

This coffee shop is right up my alley. It’s quaint and has cool feel. I’m not a coffee drinker, but I love me a good London Fog, and I like their selection of indie sodas and ginger beers(non alcoholic).

This place lived up to the hype. While it’s true that nothing seems to live up to my European expectations for coffee, Hey Happy did a great job of impressing me while in Victoria. Loved the lack of sugary sweet drinks and the minimalist décor. Dark Mocha: not bitter but not sweet at all either. Perfect for a real dark chocolate lover. Coconut Latte: sweet but rich. Went down way too easily! Next time hot instead of iced to keep it from being a chugger. Americano: perfect crema and well-balanced taste. Very very good.

Nitro cold brew? Oh yes. What an amazing glass of coffee. Watching it being poured was like watching the pouring of a fine pint of Guinness. It was smooth with a hint of effervescence. Truly memorable.

Best coffee shop in BC. Period. The beans are sourced from the best roasters(Phil & Sebastian, Ritual, etc), and the batistas are impeccably consistent in their excellent craftsmanship. I have never been disappointed(and I have ridiculously high standards when it comes to coffee and espresso beverages). Hey Happy is awesome!
