I am being generous with a two star review…
Here is a summary of my visit on Friday, September 4, 2015 at around 1700H: My wife and I walked into the store, and there were two sales people behind the counter. They were having a conversation, but after a moment, paused from one another to say «Hi», before returning immediately to their own conversation. We walked around the store, glanced at the items, and then left.
Other than «Hi», we were not attended to in any way; there was no eye contact and no offering of help. What prompted this review was that they were in their own world, having their own conversation, the whole time we were in the store. When we left, they never acknowledged us, nor broke conversation; they were completely engaged in each other, with no desire to provide any form of customer service. If I were their manager, I wouldn’t be impressed by their lack of customer service.
This is meant more as constructive criticism, from which the employees of this store can hopefully learn. When potential customers enter your store, stop your conversation at a minimum and provide some semblance of care in providing customer service. If they decline your offer, consider returning to your conversation; if they reply asking for something, help them. When they leave, it might be a good idea to acknowledge them; most say something along the lines of «Have a great day» or «Thanks for coming in».
Just my two cents as somebody who has been in a store or two over my lifetime.
Two stars: the 1^st for the Unilocal minimum, and the 2^nd for the initial «Hi».
