I told the sales rep about my allergy to peanuts three times. I got a peanut butter bagel. When I refused to touch it, they understood the mistake, and start laughing. Didn’t know my death could be so funny.

Just a decent quick pick up stop if you’re in the area, as there’s no seating like the better ones around the corner, a la Ridia Garden, food court, etc. Loses a star b/c it’s cash only. My go to choice is the egg salad, on a garlic bagel. great location if you’re in between Bentall buildings 3&4, and staying indoors underground ;)

I really wanted to like this place, however, think Subway… but with bagels. Perhaps they were having an off day, however, my bagel tasted 4 days old. The fixings were good, however, it was like biting into a rock. I gave up after a bit and just got some coffee cake from the place next door. Prices are way too high for what they’re offering, especially in the fixings department. Not impressed at all. I don’t mind the price if they have ingredients to match.

Came here after a buddy brought some coupons from an Entertainment book. This location is located towards Bentall 4, in the long«corridor» area. Parking here totally sucks, so take the bus like a hippie. I must admit the bagel selection is pretty good here. There are both sweet and savoury varieties. The bagels seem reasonably fresh, and the flavours are pretty good. I had a shrimp salad on a jalapeño bun, and it was quite good. The bagel was pretty crunchy, and the filling was somewhat fresh. I also had their blueberry bagel with pineapple filling. This one was like eating a cake. Yum! Staff(2 Korean ladies) are very friendly. The only thing that gets me is the price. $ 4 for a bagel really isn’t cheap. Thank goodness for those entertainment coupons.

I came to the Bagel Stop because I had an Entertainment Book coupon(2-for-1 deli sandwich) that expires next week. Well, let me say first of all, that I would probably never come back, but certainly not without a coupon! Their sandwiches are ridiculously over-priced. They must slice their cheese with a razor blade, because you can practically see through it. I paid $ 7.11 for a ham & cheese bagel — and I found out they charge $.40 extra for a cheese bagel. They also do not let you use the coupon for salmon(lox) or the ‘club’ sandwiches. I asked for my bagel NOT toasted, but after eating my sandwich, I’m thinking I should’ve had it toasted because the bagel is not fresh. It’s hard and way too chewy. I love bagels, and this is one of the worst I’ve had, especially considering that it’s coming from a bagel shop. I can go to Subway for a FOOTLONG ham & cheese sandwich with all the fixings($ 6.71) for less than what you pay for a little bagel sandwich. And Subway doesn’t charge extra for their cheese bread.
