Starbucks

This Starbucks is operated by UBC Food so you can pay & get a discount using your UBC card (if you’ve got money on yours of course). They don’t have mobile scanners so if the Starbucks app is your preferred method of payment you have to tell them your card number and they input it manually (don’t worry, you still get stars).
The service is friendly and decently fast, although I’ve been to other locations that churn it out more quickly. I’ve never seen the line here get too bad, but I also don’t usually come at peak hours (i.e. towards the hour at class changeover, at lunch, or in the morning).
The best part about this Starbucks is the location. Although there are no comfy armchairs, there’s tons of seating in the Fred Kaiser atrium and the ceilings are nice and high. It’s moderately quiet and a great place to study.
