History

Established in 1970.

Starting from nothing, Walter Pacey and his eldest son, Wayne created the first Pacey’s Pianos store in Vancouver. Through the years, the business grew and the people of Vancouver came to trust the name Pacey for their knowledge, care and devotion to music and the instrument of their trade. The business continued thrived and when Michael, Walter’s youngest son came of age, he too took on the mantle and began his chapter in the Pacey family piano tradition.

In 1993 Walter Pacey passed away but not before he knew the Pacey legacy of bringing music to the people and communities of Vancouver was safe for another generation to come. Sean Pacey, Walter’s grandson, followed in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps, joining the company in 1993.

Now running the Vancouver store with the same zeal and enthusiasm as his forefathers, Sean continues the family tradition of devotion and experience, bringing music to the lives of the people of Vancouver.
