Asked by phone if Mr. Kostiuk would notarize an affidavit for a desk-​order divorce. Pretty simple and straightforward. Once he heard it was done through an online service, he flatly, and without further explanation, refused.
If this were to do with professional standards or something of the sort, I wouldn’t mind, but the man’s tone made it clear the conversation was over before it had really started. Not someone I’ll be giving my business to.
