You buy this for convenience, as it’s right by the Skytrain. And it’s probably the cheapest and fastest thing if you’re in a hurry.(Yes, you can walk across the block as there are many places around, but they are not right at the Transit hub where you can grab and go if you’re changing skytrains or catching the 20, 9 or 99 or whatever.) When I have time, I like to ask them to make me a small steak pizza(not sure if that’s an available topping anymore but it was back in the day.) The good thing about this place is the high turnover. You know the pizza is usually fresh because so many people pass through this place and buy a slice and then leave. They are constantly churning out new pizza.

Megabite is cheap and fast. I love their sauce the garlic mayo and the hot sauce with the hot pepper. $ 5 for 2 pizza and a pop. Quick pizza fix. Definitely not the best pizza in the world but not the worst either. Good enough for a fast pizza fix. Fast and a convenient location. Fast service.

Just had such a negative experience… Been ordering from commercial and Broadway for the last 2 years and we always enjoyed it. but today we got a disaster of a pizza! It took 80 minutes to arrive and we live around the corner. The veggies were sloppy, it seems as they were added after the pizza was made because they were on top of the very little cheese and cold and not to mention there was no extra cheese when we paid extra for it. The cheese was also underneath all the toppings which is never how we received our pizza in the past. Spoke to manager and she wouldn’t do anything for us, except 15% on next order, I wanted a new pizza or a refund, but she said that I should stand in her shoes, well maybe she would feel different if she was the one ordering and paying for food that looked like it was thrown in a box, it was soo sloppy. We never even finished the pizza, what a waste of money we had to go and buy another supper elsewhere because we were hungry. We don’t eat out often so it’s really a disappointment. Their website states, «We at Megabite Pizza are always looking forward to serving and making sure you get the best value for your money.» I don’t believe this is a true statement. I plan on disputing with my credit card.

Srsly megabite a hot dog slice now a mac & cheese one? This pizza sits in the warmer too long even when they heat it up its awful. Get it right out of the oven or walk away.

For by the slice pizza, it’s fantastic. It gets a ton of traffic so the slices are always fresh. My last visit I had a macaroni and cheese slice which was weird and delicious.

We’ve been ordering from this Megabite for a few months now — the crust is pretty good, I like the sesame seeds, usually pretty crisp and the toppings are fresh. So for the food I would give them a solid three stars, but for customer service I give them a one. We have a regular pizza we order, capicolla, green peppers, red onions and feta cheese, no mozzarella. They can not seem to get it right, they always forget to put the feta on. It’s become a bit of a running joke, well tonight it escalated, we ordered 3 mediums, one was our usual and then one of their recipe pizzas and another custom job, pepperoni, ham, cheddar, green peppers and mushrooms. Well the pizza arrived and they forgot the feta on our usual but even worse they got the other custom pizza completely wrong. We phoned up and we could not get the lady on the other end of the phone to understand what the problem was. She told us her manager would phone back and then hung up without getting our return phone number. So we called back and she proceeded to argue with us and say that she took a photo of our order and could prove what we ordered. She then recited the order, which she had correct, and then couldn’t understand when we told her that they didn’t deliver that pizza to us. After much back and forth she said they would bring another pizza and she wanted the other one back. 2 hours later she finally shows up, this is almost 3 hours since we had initially ordered the pizza, and she proceeds to keep arguing with me on the front porch and is bitching at us for having eaten some of the pizza that they got wrong. I told her to take her pizza and go away, we won’t be ordering from Megabit ever again.

The owner here is such a nice guy. Goes out of his way to make sure you are happy and even goes over and above. I love the sautéed onions and real pieces of bacon they offer. One of my fav spots.

This isn’t the best pizza, in fact this pizza gave me cramps and serious bowl movement issues by 5 pm. This is good for stress eating if you want junk, however, it’s very expensive junk pizza. Service was good but there are way better Pizza places and or cheap eats on the drive.

It’s unfortunate that I am giving them 1 star and I haven’t even tasted it yet, simply for the fact that is has been 1 hour and 10 minutes since I ordered and it still hasn’t arrived yet… Well, it came and it was not worth the the wait. Soggy crust and the wings were a disappointment. Don’t waste your money.

I’m updating my review to 3 out of 5 stars. The manager at this location called to apologize and offered me a free pizza! When I redeemed the free pizza it was still not super warm when it arrived but was not cold this time. We ordered again the other night and the pizza was a decent temp and the new owner sent a nice card and some free drinks. I will order again and if the pizza temp on arrival is hotter I’ll revise my rating again! C’mon new owners, let’s get you a 5 star rating.

Their quality has gone down so much since new ownership. The pepperoni is dime sized and the cheese tastes really disgusting. Also worst dervice and I dont expect much in the first place. Ill go to Fatihs from now or a dofferent megabite location, for sure. Way to turn an awesome place into garbage. M

$ 2.25 for a bacon and shroom that seem to be at least 1 inch smaller than the old owners. It looked great, but was bland and luke warm, and what is with the sesame seeds. They just make a mess

Hey i live pizza, and ive tried many places, but all in all its this megabit that i love the most in Vancouver. I guess they all have the same recipes, but the ones from this store always taste the best. Like all Megabite stores(and all non-owner run pizza stores) the staff are very lackluster and just there to do their job, but who cares. Not me. i dont need their cheerful attitude, i just want pizza. the location is very convenient, right next to the skytrain, but that corner is not the nicest area. There only a simple bench inside to eat your pizza. All of this. who cares. its about the pizza and for that i name them number one for the same plrice. Im a vegetarian, so havent tried any meat ones. I recommend the artichoke or the eggplant. both basically the same besides this one ingredient, and lovely with sesame seeds on the crust.

So I sometimes eat while on my way home late at night… I’m a fatty like that. Personally I like plain and simply pizza, but when I come to Megabite… I get a little bit… adventurous. Putting the ranch sauce and everything on my pizza. They have a large selection of pizzas, everything from good ol’ cheese to the more adventurous artichoke pizza(which is surprisingly good). If you order a fresh pizza, it might take a while so budget some time. Ok people, don’t get so wrapped up about how this pizza is $ 0.25 more than Uncle Fatihs or Freshslice… it isn’t Uncle Fatihs or Freshslice. Just eat your food and don’t base reviews and critiques on the fact that it’s a quarter more expensive.

Always setting the trend of pizza prices at Commercial, Megabyte has provided convienance to the commuters of the popular transfer station since it opened. I had fond memories of this place until I discovered they had competition which rivalled their own pizza formula. If you’ve never had a slice of Vancouver mediteranean styled pizza they might impress you. If you’ve tried every by the slice in the city you’ll let out a distinct«meh» and wonder why every pizza place in the city has matched their slice prices for the past decade.

Why would I come here and pay $ 2.25 when I can pay $ 2 for a bigger and better slice at Uncle Fatih’s across the street? I ask you.

Usually when you place an order for delivery online you get a confirmation phone call. My bad in assuming that Megabite was the same. I ordered the pizza online and never got a phone call or anything. Over an hour later my order showed up, to my surprise, since I had assumed they weren’t coming and already started considering other food options, and not only was he unapologetic, they got my order wrong. It’s not like I read it out over the phone and they misheard me, I selected what I wanted WITHBUTTONS!!! So this kinda sucks. The pizza is okay but I have to pick a bunch of toppings off. Bleh.

This place is a standard, dollar slice(sorry, i should say TWO dollar slice) pizza place that gets by on location. Their pizza isn’t bad if you choose a slice from a pizza that looks fresh out of the oven, but otherwise the cheese tastes kinda weird. The interior is a bit agonizing due to how dirty everything looks and how garish the fading yellow paint is. The whole place looks so unkempt that they could wipe down every surface and the place would still feel dirty. I get the feeling that everyone goes there begrudgingly. I myself went today as i was really hungry after a long day at work and didn’t think i could get through my evening volunteering without putting something in my gut. A teen a few seats down said to his friend ‘next time we won’t be too lazy to cross the street to Uncle Fahti’s.’ On my way out, i passed a woman talking on her cellphone who was complaining loudly about her ‘baby daddy’ and was using that word seriously. I think we all wanted to be somewhere else.

I had two slices of their speciality veggie pizza — gourmet delight. It was greasy, sloppy and left me feeling ill for hours afterwards. This wasn’t by the slice either. My hubby and I ordered a ‘fresh one’ after he convinced me to stray from our usual, Dallas Pizza. Never again. I’m getting the icky sicky mouth sweats just thinking about it again now :(

I went here after a Tuesday night of bowling and wanted more than a slice, so I asked for a full Vegetarian pizza and the cashier looked at me like I was talking gibberish(which is weird because that’s exactly what some of the sketchy people standing outside scratching their faces speak). She handed me their menu of toppings and I insisted that I’d rather any one of their pizzas so long as it didn’t have meat on it, and again she had no idea what I was talking about. So I ordered a pizza and after 15 minutes of waiting, I asked her what the hold up was. Apparently she didn’t tell any of the four guys in the kitchen who were standing around joking and telling stories, and after five minutes one of the kitchen guys was looking around asking who the pizza was for… I walked up to him and he pulled the pizza away asking if it was really for me. I looked at him, superbly annoyed, and told him that I’ve been standing in front of him for the past 20 minutes and who else would the pizza be for. When he turned to look for the cashier who was chatting on her cell phone, I pulled the pizza out of his hands and left only to get home and find that the pizza was half-cooked. If you’re just walking in and getting a slice of pizza and you really don’t care what’s on it or in it, whatever, fine, this place will accept your money. But strike out any form of communication. The cashier is an idiot and I was so pissed that I will never go here again, no matter how hungry I am.
