A timeline: 5:55PM — Order placed through Orderit 6:30PM — Order confirmed by restaurant. Told it will be 30 – 45 minutes to be delivered. Okay, not great, but okay. 7:20PM — Food has not arrived yet, I call the restaurant to confirm my order’s gone through. I’m met with«Yeah man, you’re just around the corner from us, the driver’s on the way» and am hung up on. Um… what? 8:10PM — The food arrives. The driver is apologetic, does his thing. No complaints here, driver service was excellent. 8:12PM — There are olives in my lasagna. I won’t be ordering again, waiting over two hours for a delivery time that is listed on the restaurant’s website as 30 – 45 minutes, then being made to wait nearly an hour past my phone-confirmed delivery time is not okay.

This is one of the few times I wish that I was able to look up the information before ordering, sadly my experience mirrored most. They had a deal going on which is why I went in on it for a party. One cheese and the other pepperoni and cheese. The pizza took more than an hour and the pizza was coldish when it arrived. The guy was offended when we didn’t tip a lot(we did tip, just not as much as normal) and we explained that the box felt cold and that he was over an hour late. I think that is fair considering that we didn’t have to give any tip at all. As for the pizza it was okay. Crust was way too soft.

«Fast free delivery» is clearly not the correct description of this horrid place nor is «Best Pizza in Town.» I ordered Greek salad, Mozza Sticks and pizza at 7:12pm. Received the pizza at 8:20pm and apparently he forgot other stuff and went back to get those. He told me it will take him 20 minutes for him to deliver the rest and clearly it is 9:35pm and I still have not received them. Called the place and apparently the driver is delivering it to other places first then coming to mine, which to me is worst delivery service I have experienced yet. Ended up getting a refund on the other items. I’ve had other pizza places forget to deliver food. It happens. But this place is utterly horrible at dealing with such delays. Pizza wasn’t even good. It was close to a charcoal than a pizza. Clearly best charcoal in the town. I would go for other options than this place if you want pizza.

The late night pizza options in Vancouver are quite limited, so we gave Johnny’s a shot. Pizza arrived hot, and was ok, but could have used better quality pepperoni. The guy taking the order over the phone was entertaining. The delivery guy would be a bit unnerving to some people. The pizza hot bag was shredded and tattered. Image wise, this place needs help.

1 star is way too much for this place. This is the worst food I have tasted in my life. Ragu sauce and pasta tastes so much better than this crap. On top of that, it took 2 hours to deliver it, and to make up for the delay, they gave us free stale salad. Eat at your own risk.

Their slogan of «the best pizza in town» is compete rubbish. Delivery came with the pizza box crushed into the pie with four pastas on top. An elementary student could pack better. Pasta dishes had soggy noodles and not nearly enough sauce. Also, how is this 2 for 1 when you are charging $ 20 per dish? Best thing about dinner was the garlic bread which was actually a bun. Only eat here if you are stumbling home after a night on the town and about a dozen drinks deep! Otherwise you will regret it.

Took over an hour and 40 mins to deliver my small pizza. I called them after an hour to see where the driver was and they told me he had left the store already. Over 30 mins later he showed up. Do u think my pizza was hot or even warm after all that time? No. It was cold. Kinda like day old pizza. And. Pretty disgusting. Never again.

The worst pizza ever. Period. They forgot several toppings. Seriously no one should ever order from here. If you’re like me and get off work early get Dallas everytime!

I agree with the guy that says you never know what you’re gonna get here. All I know is I had to miss a friends birthday party because I was in the hospital after getting the worst case of food poisoning I’ve had in my measly 32 years from Johnny pizza factory. I was on morphine and went through 2saline iv drips in the hospital. I almost passed out from the pain before I went to the emergency room. I was diarrheaing and puking simultaneously. If you want a masochistic diarrhea colon cleanse where you’ll lose 5pounds in water weight within 2 days I recommend Johnny pizza factory. If you want decent pizza, there are hundreds of other pizza joints in Vancouver that won’t send you to the e.r.

ive been on a binge this year w/baked lasagna so i have plenty to compare to – and this one is nothing to write home about. main complaint is not enough cheese, and barely covered enough that it’s gotta stick to the aluminum foil edges, right?! but thumbs up for the nice, soft fettucine rolls, and though not evenly spread like Best neighbours, creek side, candia taverna or dallas souvlaki, tomato sauce was good and in certain pockets here and there lol. Good size portion… but just gotta to choose better cheese. Ribs were a bit dry, or over cooked, luckily the bulls eye sauce made up for it. no doubt it’s good value, and fit for the hungry man/woman who just wants quantity!

The pizza wasn’t bad. In fact the Greek meat pizza was our favorite. The crust was thin and crispy and the cheese was really good. Delivery took almost an hour but the pizza got here still hot. Two large pizzas was $ 33. That seems to be similar to other places in the area. I would order from here again.

The front door is never open. There is a 5″ x 5″ sign made in microsoft word on the door that says«be back in 10 minutes to place order call 604-XXX-XXXX. The«back in 5 minutes sign» is yellowed and dirty because its been on the door permanently for years. The sign out front of the shop advertises a large 2 topping for $ 12 but when you call to make an order its suddenly $ 14 … OK so the $ 12 advertised price doesnt include tax. Well $ 12 plus tax rounding UP equals $ 13.50 not $ 14. So basically FU. No comment on the pizza because I didnt actually get one when they tried to rip me off during my first phone order.

I discovered Johnny’s in a booze –fueled hunger attack at some ungodly hour, realizing that I simply had to have pizza and that most sane establishments were closed. I’ve ordered it a couple times since then(at reasonable times and with less alcohol in my system) and the pizza is just as tasty. In fact, an Italian pizza aficionado friend of mine was heartily impressed with the the margherita pizza. Fresh toppings, piping hot, crust decent, though I’m a fan of a thinner crust, this would satisfy most thin-crust picky types such as myself. If you’re on the hunt for good pizza in Van at particularly ridiculous times of the day, give Johnny’s a call.

Three visits, all I can say is that this place is «odd». Once they wouldn’t accept cash. Once it was great. Once it was awful. Good luck!

Great place, i order from here often, but only certain things. The pizza and pasta is decent, the wings and donairs are great. Stay away from the Greek food, the ribs and the prawns. Good service though, nice people, and the late hours are a bonus.

Johnny’s(not to be confused with all the other pizza joints in this city named after this guy or any of the other pizza factories) has always been a bit of an enigma to me. First, the advertised hours, 4 to 4(that’s pm to am), are the strangest business hours I’ve ever seen for an establishment. Second, the pizza is always different. I don’t order the same thing every time, but sometimes it’s pretty okay and sometimes it’s the lamest pie with the most canned tasting SPS I’ve ever had. Tonight I finally had the standard by which I can truely judge a pizza place: the plain cheese pizza. I found a lot to like, surprisingly. The cheese was just the right level of stringy and the crust was almost a real thin crust. It’s like they took the regular cheap Vancouver pizza joint crust and made it awesome. Not chewy or plastic feeling, crispy and delicious. I feel like the sauce deserves special consideration because I’ve described it to people as tasting canned before. I think tonight I finally had what it’s supposed to taste like. It’s well spiced and tangy. They’ve loaded it up with herbs and it now ranks high in the running for best sauce by a cheap place. You’ve finally won me over, Johnny’s. I’ll probably be back next week.
