The single slice pizza is pretty typical of single slice pizza place — slices sitting under a warming lamp not looking as enticing as they could be, But if you have a few minutes to wait and have enough people to feed to order an entire pizza, it improves drastically. Try a super Hawaiian feast pizza which has bacon and cheddar on it as well as the usual goodies, the toppings are bigger than most pizza places so you can actually taste the different flavors of each topping, then add some onions or mushrooms and now we are talking!

I(tried to) order at this location through . Pizza never arrived, despite my sitting around and waiting for nearly two hours, and when I tried to call this Freshslice, no one picked up. Turns out they had a «printing error», but they never bothered to contact Just-Eat for a reprint of my order; I had to resort to calling Just-Eat to figure out what had happened. I was told by the CS rep that the Freshslice owner would contact me the next day to offer me a discount on my next order… but of course, it never happened. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere, preferably to a restaurant with more professionalism than this — the pizza here is nowhere near good enough to put yourself through this.

Just a peeve about this place, if you order 3 or 4 slices to go, they stick them in a box thats too small and the slices are piled ontop of each other ruining the top of the bottom ones and the bottom of the top ones the whole thing just turns into a gooey mess.

Fresh slice is the ONLY place we eat chain pizza. I have found that pizza in this city is very lacking, as far as the chains go. We eat in the diner sometimes and order delivery other times. The delivery is usually 20mins or less(we live about 3 blocks away). We don’t have any major complaints other than the feast pizzas are a little on the pricey side but at least they are tasty. I like that Fresh slice is a little more healthy. They use whole grains in their crust.

Solid 3 stars for Fresh Slice Pizza. On my first day in Vancouver, we stopped by this pizza place for a very late lunch. On Tuesdays they have a special for $ 1 pizza slices. The sign says ANY slice, though it’s limited to what they have on display. I noticed one of the employees accidentally put a non-promotional pizza on display, but the owner quickly had him remove it before it was sold for $ 1 a slice. If you are looking for a no frill slice of pizza to curb your hunger, this place isn’t so bad. The seating is a bit cramped, but definitely better than no seating. Did I mention that there’s FREE wifi? =D Parking is in a small lot and next to a 7 Eleven.

They may claim that their pizza is healthy, but the amount of grease on the pizzas says otherwise. Not a fan of pizza sitting in a warmer all day. Its cheap so you get what you pay for

I usually like fresh slice but coming here twice I’ve had 2 bad experiences. First time the pizza was literally cold/warm in the middle, and second time they wouldn’t give me a promotion that was on the board, because of some lame reason. I never write bad reviews but this one has to be heard.

I’m not sure what they mean by «Vancouver Style Pizza», but I like it because the crust is not too thick. It’s too bad that this area doesn’t get too much foot traffic, so the pizzas in the warmers tend to get cold. Most of them are still pretty good cold, though. I really like their take-out containers: a wide and shallow paper bag with wax paper on the bottom. Much better than walking out with just a paper plate, without increasing packaging material. This logo can be seen all over Vancouver, so I was surprised to find on their website that they started in 1999 with one store. I guess that’s already over 10 years ago.

What is there to say about Fresh Slice that hasn’t already been said? If you’ve spent more than a few minutes outside in Vancouver chances are high that you’ve walked past one of their locations. They claim to be the originator of the«Vancouver style pizza» but I’m not exactly clear on what that means. Maybe it means they use something they dub white sauce when you order a plain cheese pizza, because they certainly do that. It doesn’t taste bad, but it’s not what I expect from a cheese pizza. Or maybe it describes the crust, which tastes more mass produced than frozen pizza and has a certain plasticity to it. I’m going to leave the actual pizza at that. Bad pizza from cheap places is the norm in this city, so that’s nothing special. Where they really lose the stars is on delivery. I live within 10 blocks of this location. It took roughly an hour to get a pizza delivered and once it had been, the driver had forgotten the credit card machine. Not acceptable from a pizza place that touts their delivery, especially when the local competition manages the same feat in about 30 minutes without hassling me. Never again for delivery, Fresh Slice.
