I come here once in awhile for lunch. They’re in the back of the CIBC building near Burrard and Georgia which is just a stone’s throw from my office. I like the way IK2Go is setup — lines move quickly and unless you come during the lunch rush, you can be in and out in just a few minutes. Servers are personable and remember me when I’m there. Their Truffled Radiatori is to die for. I’ve also had their turkey panini and their meatballs which were both very good. They have a number of pizzas on display that look excellent but I haven’t ordered one as yet. Plenty of different kinds of salad if you’re into that. Prices have gone up since I’ve been going here but I can still get lunch for around $ 10 or under, and there’ll usually be leftovers if I’m not starving.

Pretty standard soup/salad/pasta offerings. Bring back the chicken parm sannie! This chicken/prosciutto that I’m eating is pretty bland. And stock up some salads post 1pm would ya?

Do yourself a favour — get the meat lasagne! This place is(generally) quick and offers some pretty great foods at reasonable prices. The pastas are great, salads are great — though I would say the pizza is just OK at best. The reason for 4 stars is on several visits I have had to wait 20+ minutes in a line of 3 or so people for food that was already prepared, where other days in the same situation its 30 seconds. PS, a tip is on monday they offer 20% off gift cards, if you want to come often for lunch, fill up on a monday.

I love IK2GO! I’ve only been to the alberni location but I normally stop by after work since it’s 20% off from 3:30 — close(they close around 5:30). Anyways, I normally grab a panini or a wrap, and their amazing crackle cookie. The cookie is $ 1.95 and the paninis are around $ 6 – 7? Anyways, you seriously have to try their crackle cookie! It’s so soft and decadent with extremely delicious chocolate ganache on the inside. Their smoked salmon wrap is also very good and I usually get it heated up.(most people eat it cold) Their scones are also quite good but the blueberry one is a bit too sweet since it’s dusted with a lot of sugar.

The good folks at IK2Go brought back the full sandwich and half salad option! Woot woot! Sometimes the Full sandwich and full salad was just a bit too much food so this fits nicely… in your tummy!

This place is awesome. It’s quick and has reasonably priced food. They also have promotions that can lower the price as well. They have sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and desserts. The location was also perfect for me. I would go before 12:30 as it can get pretty busy. I have tried their pizzas only. One giant slice is $ 4-$ 4.50. It’s a very generous serving for the price, and has gourmet toppings. The lamb sausage one was very delicious, and the smoked salmon one was amazing. They hear it up for you in their oven so the bottom is crispy when you order it. The service is pretty good here. I have had no issues with the staff here. They are friendly and prompt. Nothing amazing or extra notable though. Would come again if I end up working nearby again!

Best place to grab a delicious bite of take-out Italian food if you work downtown — it can be a bit hidden, but it’s right beside the main restaurant inside a little corridor. The best part is, the food is fresh and just as delicious as IK. I love the Caprese salad + a slice of pizza — under $ 10, you can’t beat it!

I’m a fan! I tried this place once so far — got the Lamb Pizza(can’t remember the exact italian name), but it was delish. It had lamb meat balls, wild mushrooms, and egg. Amazing.

I believe the best thing since sliced bread is the panini maker. IK2GO has the best of both. Instead of a generic slapstick model of bread, cheese and veg, and meat at the other delis in the area, their paninis’ tasty fillings are very unique from turkey to roast beef to chicken. Spicy tomato fondue and mozzarealla. Truffle aiola and asiago. Gorgonzola and fig spread. And by ordering their pasta through takeout, you get a FREE reusable Glowbal tote bag. Sometimes I order just for the free bag.

This place does not live up to the hype. The food is decent, but the same could be said for the deli at Urban Fare. I was drawn to the smoked-salmon wrap which looked generous in the display case. But the one I got had me wondering if I should have ordered a second one, or go hungry. It tasted ok, but then it’s hard to screw up smoked salmon. It wasn’t particularly memorable, and sure enough I was hungry shortly after. My friend was even more disappointed by his lasagna. It came in a small box that fit in the palm of his hand. Containers usually come in two sizes — take out size for full entrees, and doggie bag size, for when you have a little left to take home. He got a doggie bag. Sad because other places serve twice as much lasagna, with salad and garlic bread. He said it tasted like your average pasta. When you charge so much for a meal, shouldn’t the customer feel full?

Great lunch option for office folk working in Downtown Vancouver. Their prices are right, and the food is quality. Try the panini and salad combo, it’s a great deal. My office is in the Burrard Building so I am lucky enough to be able to get chow from here without braving the rain. Don’t be scared by the line, because the staff is super efficient and have their process down(which makes for a short wait time).

While the food looks delicious, I never got a chance to try any of it. I have a serious nut allergy so naturally at Italian restaurants and cafes my first question is «Is there pine nut pesto in this?» All three of the front counter staff at IK2GO where unable to definitively communicate to me what would be a safe option from their vast array of sandwiches. As a realistic & non-fussy allergy-haver, I am fine taking a chance by eating something that«may have come into contact with nuts» as long as there are no nuts explicitly in it’s list of ingredients. However, the front counter staff were unable to even tell me which sandwiches didn’t have pine nut pesto as an ingredient. All I got was a lot of «we can’t guarantee anything» and awkward side-eye. This could be due to them honestly not knowing(an ever-changing fresh local menu perhaps) or because they hadn’t been coached by management on how to hand food allergy enquiries from customers. Regardless, I left after hearing«well, we could get a simple pasta made for you from [The Italian Kitchen] instead.» All I wanted was to try their quick & inexpensive soup & sandwich lunch combo. I was flexible by telling them that I was OK ordering anything as long as it didn’t explicitly have nuts on the ingredient list. Despite this, they didn’t feel comfortable serving me anything from their pre-made case. While I appreciate the offer of making«a simple pasta» from the Italian Kitchen next door, that would not have been quick, nor the soup & sandwich combo I came in to try. [Edit for spelling.]

Great service, I typically use these folks to cater my office meetings and they do a BANG-UP job. Just remember to be very specific with your order, if you have 6 in the meeting and order 6 Kobe meatball orders, make sure you mention you want them packaged seperately or you may get them all in one big serve. IK2GO is also very attentive to special dietary requests! Love this place!

I like it! I’ve been going to Italian Kitchen 2 Go on and off for about 2 years and the food and service has always been great. Over the last couple of weeks out kitchen at home has been under renovations and we haven’t had access to a stove for 9 days. While I usually opt to bring my lunch in with me 3 times a week and only eat out twice, I’ve found myself having to lunch out every day for the past little bit. Out of the 7 business days where I’ve bought lunch, I’ve been to IT2Go 6, and Street Meet once. I go to IK2Go partly because of the value proposition(sandwich and soup/salad come up to just under $ 6 if you think ahead and bring load up a gift card), and partly because of the quality of food and portion size. The portions are good, they aren’t generous, but don’t leave you hungry either. By american standards they may be a bit small, but I find that it’s just the right amount of food for me — especially when I’m eating out every day. The food quality is high, particularly when compared to other meals in the $ 5-$ 10 category, which would basically limit you to fast food or a ½ order at a food truck. All in all, I’m very happy with IK2Go. I’m a creature of habit so my usual is either the Sienna or Portofino the with beet salad, and I’ve yet to be dissatisfied.

I’d give this place 3 – 3.5 stars. I liked the low prices, until I saw the small portions. I’d rather pay a teeny bit more and feel satisfied after my meal. That said, the food is pretty tasty. I tried the milano sandwich and caprese salad. The milano was a nice piece of breaded veal with some tomato and melted mozzarella on panini. It took some time to come out but was rather tasty although quite small. The caprese salad was a bit of a culinary fail. Caprese salad dished out without ANY cheese is, in fact, not a caprese salad, it’s just a pile of boring tomatoes. I was lucky enough to have a couple slivers of cheese while my colleague got not a single piece of cheese in her order. Another colleague had the porchetta and remarked after just one bite that he wished we’d gone to Meat & Bread. Would I eat here again? Yes. Would I walk here from work in Yaletown again just to grab some lunch? No way. Did I think it was a good price? Absolutely. Did I think it was a good value? Not really.

IK2GO stands for Italian Kitchen To Go. It means you are getting restaurant quality food for a fraction of the restaurant price. This place is conveniently located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver. This is a great Italian sandwich place for people who work in Downtown. Whenever my company needs to order sandwiches, our first choice is always IK2GO. We order often enough to the point most of us has gone through all the list on the sandwich menu and we continue to order from them. Their hot sandwiches are solid. You have a choice of chicken, turkey, prosciutto. Kobe meat balls, deep friend pork, and vegetarian. My favorite is the chicken because they use real chicken breasts instead of processed chicken breast hams. The chicken breasts are always moist and juicy. I once had the vegetarian and the grilled vegetables such as eggplants, zucchini, sweet onions, and Portobello mushrooms were superb. The breads they use are fresh and very Artisan. The condiments used are of good quality. This place has been consistently solid. We mostly order the morning of and sometimes the day before. Sometimes you can get your order delivered, sometimes not. I don’t blame them as they are super busy during lunch hours from 11−2pm M-F.

Didn’t know this place existed at all, until today. Thanks to a friend who works nearby~ This is not to be confused with the overpriced Italian Kitchen next door. Yes they’re probably the same restaurant, but this one is tuned towards the yuppie lunch crowd. Today I tried their smoked salmon pizza($ 4.50). The pizza was a semicircle with a 9″ diameter, which makes it slightly smaller(area) than 2 of those $ 2 pizza slices you can pick up around downtown. But this one was covered in smoked salmon! The crust was thin, the toppings were fresh, and the aroma is awesome. It was a bit on the greasy side, but I didn’t the mind the slight decrease in life expectancy. Just a tip, they sell gift cards as well. If you pick one up on a Monday, you get 20% off. So now the pizza is $ 3.50ish. You can’t even do food courts for this cheap. I will definitely be back. Recommended.

Well this should really be 3.5 stars but I knocked it down a bit because of the price. I got to IKTG at about 11.30 to avoid lines which was a great idea. All items were fresh and things looked goooood. I just wanted something light so opted for the soup of the day(vegetables with prosciutto) and the been salad. The soup, first of all, was amazing. The flavours were full and rich likely due to the prosciutto(key to all successful vegetarian dishes… add meat). Veggies were ample and included asparagus so they did not skimp on quality and only give you carrots and celery. I eagerly devoured every bite to get to the next… so tasty. The salad was also pretty good but there was exactly one dime-sized nugget of goat cheese so that did not impress. And the 2 items together cost me 10 $ so not a great deal. I think their panini/salad deals are better(around 7 $ i think?) so it likely all depends on what you order. But the quality was definitely there so in many ways, way more satisfying than paying 5 $ for something that tastes like arse.
