Get Fresh Flowers

Beautiful store, have seen it around for a long time, was excited to finally have a chance to go in today as I was looking for something special.
The staff member (?owner) there was really disinterested and put me off right away. I said «hello, how are you» and got a mumbled response, no eye contact, and he was obviously busy writing down very «important» things.
I then asked him a question and his response was silence and a raised eyebrow with a sarcastic look like I was the stupidest person on earth. Basically gave me a non-​answer and I could tell right then and there that he was absolutely uninterested in helping me.
I almost walked out, but gave him another chance and asked another question after another look around the store. Another unhelpful response and I basically took the hint and left. I said goodbye and got no response.
I will never go there again, and will never purchase anything from that store just because of the frosty and rude reception.
My advice to the staff? Be a little nicer and more helpful. Sorry I don’t have any idea about plants — that’s YOUR job, not mine.

Selection: Stunning, unique and perfect for that last second housewarming/​hostess gift
Employees: One stiff older gentleman with no sense of humor and one gangly kid who got under the other guy’s last nerve as I was leaving.
Overall: I’ll be back

The most beautiful flowers in the West End, and a nice selection of plants.

The store is a sea of lime greens, whites and pastels and design with flair is the key to the success of this flower store. They have a big blackboard with specials or sales on it and make the most unique arrangements. Tropical orchids, tulips, roses and the planters they come are breathtaking. The giant white Buddhas, mediation type of candles and vases and funky décor inside is as enchanting as the flowers themselves. Some of the hanging plants are incredible and I’ve never seen them anywhere else before.

Ladies, if you’re tired of getting standard bouquets from your man (not that we’re complaining… it’s just nice to spice it up once in a while), urge him to pay a visit to Robert Munro of Get Fresh Flowers. I mean, this florist is clearly all about high fashion. His long-​lasting tropical orchids come in shades of hot pink, red, white, purple, and juicy citrus tones. Of course, better remind your beau these tropical flowers are best enjoyed grouped in one hue.
