Great spot to stop on the way home to pick up some pre-marinated spicy morsels for the oven or BBQ. Fresh nan breads, roti or paratha always a good accompaniment. It’s only a meat/butcher shop or take out. The take out I have had is in line with the prices charged, a great place to go on the way home for some yummy East Indian Cheers Bön apatite

Would be less stars if possible. Wanted some Indian food. Went to this place stood inside for ten minutes rang the bell twice. No answer, walked out.

It may just look like another meat shop, but it’s far from it. This place has one of the best tandoori chickens in town. Cooked or raw. Everything on the menu is good. Chilli chicken and the lamb are also good choices.

I love it when I walk into a butcher and it doesn’t smell like raw meat. This tells me that the standards of cleanliness are high and the products they sell are very fresh. Fraserview Tandoori House and Meat Shop smells delighfully of toasted naan and spices. It is a small family run shop but it is very popular. This is partly because the prices are very affordable. This is also because they have some of the best marinades in the city. I hope this place is around for many many more years.

Man oh man, why would anyone go to a grocery store for something interesting to bring to a BBQ. These guys know how it’s done. Those chicken wings, marinating in a variety of thick, spicy sauces. Fresh tandoori chicken, and my favourite, the lamb chops. They also have a variety of un-sauced meats, freezer products and even clay oven breads. And CHEAP. Three healthy-sized marinated lamb chops will set you back about $ 7-$ 8.

Have only been twice but it’s a solid take out joint. Butter chicken was okay, but nothing special. Had their tandoori chicken twice, once was very saucy for some reason but still good. Such good value though for the price. Lamb biryani was really good, well spiced and generous portions. I actually thought it was too meaty so I mixed in some white rice for leftovers. Garlic naan is okay but pass on the regular naan. If only their naan was better. I like it crispy and airy naan, there’s is like a flatbread dough.

just left the South Indian annual parade where they block off Main st, its like a PNE atmosphere but free food samples! heck, real dishes, as you can go back for more, just grabbed a styrofoam plate, and line up buffet style. Their butter chicken really, really rocks! now my top 3. And its orange colour rice also very deleesh too… boneless chicken of course. Sauce just the right spice. Will return!

Found this place last week when actually looking for another similar shop which seems to have closed down. They have tons of marinated meats(tandoori chicken, butter chicken, chili chicken, et). They also have tons of dishes(aloo gobhi, palak paneer, dal tarkha, etc) and made on the spot, sooo good naan. Last week we tried the tandoori chicken and garlic naan. This week, barbeque lemon spicy chicken & dal tarkha. My car smelled so good on the way home. Dinner was fantastic! Definitely will be coming here regularly!

Awesome marinated meats that are even cheaper than regular meat at the supermarket. Saves me time and money, and tastes great. Cooked items are also good, I love the Chicken Tikka, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, Lamb Vindaloo, and Lamb Biryani! I go there at least twice a week.

I have thus far only tried their butcher shop meats and not their takeout items. The meats available at this butcher shop are really inexpensive. What a great way to bargain shop for top quality meat. The marinated, ready-to-grill items are my favourite and always get rave reviews from family and guests. Tandoori chicken, curry fish, bbq wings, curry lamb steaks, and the list goes on and on. I bbq’d in the rain today. I woke up this morning thinking about the chicken from this place and nothing was going to stop me from enjoying it…

they can make some of the best curries out there. not always consistent thats why i take one star off. special mentions to the palak paneer and saag. price is right. taste is fine. no space for dine in so usually take out. a large selection of marinated and tandoori meats for all you carnivores who love to Barbeque. My carnivore friends love this place
