Cupcakes

I love cupcakes. Unfortunately I am a celiac and require gluten free. This store does make gluten free cupcakes, but they only ever have carrot! I don’t ever want to see another carrot cupcake in my life. They really need to switch up the flavors. A lot of times they don’t even have any gluten free at all, and I dislike how they charge more when the cupcake is significantly smaller, no choice of flavor, and probably not as tasty (haven’t tried any glutenous ones to confirm this but its generally a pretty solid guess).

I had a birthday cake for my son which was amazing! They do delivery too which I found it a great idea since you will be busy arranging the party

Stopped by here to pick up a pack of 15 mini assorted cupcakes. Of course, I did not sample all of them on my own; I had several others with me to help me polish them off. We all agreed that the cupcakes were pretty yummy. I especially liked the chocolate one with cream cheese frosting as well as the coconut cupcake with flakes and cream cheese frosting. Some of the others included were red velvet, chocolate, vanilla, and they all had varied toppings, including some with jam. The texture of the cupcakes seemed perfect. I’m generally not a sweets person, but every once and a while I’ll try a sweet. This place was well worth it.
It’s also located right near English Bay, so you can enjoy your cupcake with a fabulous view if it’s a clear day.

We got a six pack of cupcakes. They got a little smashed on the way home in the car but they tasted pretty good. My husband got the eggnog he said it was good. The 6 year old got the lemon he ate it no complaints. The shop is very cute inside.

We came here on our way to get lunch and couldn’t help but stop in because it smelled so delicious! The place is very easy to find with the color of the business being nice and bright.
Customer service was excellent and prompt. The guy was very nice and well mannered. The store itself is so cute! Very pink and happy vibes when you walk in. It smells absolutely lovely.
I got (I believe it was called) the Chocolate Cherry Bomb. It was amazing… rich chocolate with cherry sauce baked into the cupcake and heavenly whipped frosting with a cherry on top! I can’t wait to go back to Vancouver so I can get more cupcakes from this place!

I’ve stopped here two days in a row now– the cupcakes are delicious! I had the mint chocolate chip one first and it was amazing! The mint flavor of the icing was the perfect. I couldn’t believe how on point the flavor was. On my second visit I tried the vanilla cupcake and again it was wonderful! Would highly recommend this place for those with a sweet tooth !!!

There will never be another cupcake store in Vancouver that will ever touch my heart like this cupcake store on demean! Their cupcakes truly are fresh and delicious. Not to mention their pop cakes that taste just like fudge on a stick! SO GOOD!

Received a lovely message from Owner about refund or to try a new cupcake. Who heard of a refund? What a lovely option! Will call and go for one or the other choice. Nice and classy gesture!

I had my wedding cake and cupcakes made here, and they were amazing. Pamela was so helpful from the beginning, and walked me through choosing exactly the cake I wanted, and provided great advice about not embellishing too many of my cupcakes.
The end result was even more beautiful than I imagined, and it tasted even better. One of my friends even commented how yummy the fondant was. I got a selection of mini cupcakes too, and they were beautiful, and not dry at all (as minis sometimes can be), and even the next day the leftovers still looked and tasted incredible.
Also, Pamela did me the great favor of communicating directly with the venue to arrange delivery, which was one less thing for me to worry about. It was all around a great experience. Thank you!

I’ve been to many of their locations and tried many different cupcakes. Today was especially good because we just came back from a family bike ride around the seawall and couldn’t stop thinking about those cupcakes… We parked our bikes out front and walked to the counter… My decision was quick, the «koo koo» which is a cream cheese icing with vanilla muffin and coconut topping. My 2 year old daughter got the mini vanilla cupcake and husband got the red velvet. All of us scarfed them down in minutes (or probably seconds)! The lady behind the counter was very friendly, cheerful and funny!
Not only are the cupcakes delicious and the space adorable, but it’s right across the street from the beautiful English bay beach…
Now I just have to work off this cupcake…

Absolutely delicious and gorgeous! My husband and I ordered 150 cupcakes as our wedding cake, they were set up on the large silver tiered stand with flowers on top. It looked beautiful, but tasted even better. Pamela was amazing to work with, very accommodating — But more importantly our guests raved about the cupcakes! Pricing was fair compared to the other cupcake tower wedding cakes I received quotes for, I will definitely recommend this location. Thank you!

Literally the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. I’ve spent a decent amount of time in Los Angeles, where Sprinkles and DC cupcakes are the crowd fave, but those don’t even come close to Cupcakes!
Do note, they’re quite rich so you could share one with a friend!
My favourite is the diva; Chocolate with vanilla buttercream frosting.

Cupcakes has been around for awhile, and I’ve been buying their cakes for ages.
This was my second time purchasing a cake for a corporate event, the first time I felt compelled to write a review!
Despite a small accident (a bit of detailgot a bit smooshed), Vanessa promptly fixed it as I waited. She even called me a cab when we both realised how harrowing it would be to carry such a large cake on the Skytrain.
The cake arrived, the birthday girl was surprised and everyone was delighted with how gorgeous and delicious the cake was.
Not only that, but the cake was ordered on a rush and even though I technically missed the submission deadline to have it made on time, I still received my order on time.
Even more awesome? Vanessa just called me, to make sure I was happy with my order. That kind of customer service totally deserved a Unilocal.:)

I’m not usually a cupcake fan but this place is the only cupcakes I enjoy in town.
Something about it that is more like eating a slice of cake rather a not satisfying cupcake that can be flavourless at other places
The cupcakes aren’t the cheapest but when you can’t decide you can satisfy your craving with a variety of choices they offer in minis
But I love their filled cupcakes such as Nutella, pb, or the caramello

Normally I’m not a cupcake eating type of guy but I saw the pink storefront sign and just had to walk in.
It was Sunday, Father’s day, cupcakes normally priced at $ 3.50, however all cupcakes priced 2 for 1, score !!!
Got the Carmellita and Mint Chocolate, sugar rush.
Gotta say, the cake was moist and the frosting was flavorful and not too sugary sweet.
I see more cupcakes in my future

One of the first cupcakes stores before it franchised. I went to this location when it first opened. At the time they were actually the best cupcakes in the city with awesome frosting, however, as the years and multiple locations have opened the quality in both the cake and frosting have significantly gone downhill. I understand business logistics and having to cut corners to ensure that your franchise (s) make money within reason but there is a difference between cutting costs and a large 180 in declining quality of the cupcakes. I find that this is no excuse considering that there is more buying power (of ingredients) the more you buy (in bulk). The cupcakes themselves do look pretty and the store is ecstatically pleasing. If you’re going to charge almost $ 4 per cupcake you better make sure that you have something to show for it.
I came here recently in hopes that the feedback received for this and the other locations may have been taking seriously, however, for «fresh» cupcakes they were still dry and the frosting was sub par.
You have a beautiful store that makes the block look pretty but pretty only gets you so far. They deserve a 3 ’cause the times I have been here the customer service has been awesome compared to their other locations. Also this a clean well organized location (another star).
Let’s not forget that Heather and Lori aren’t chefs nor have they ever had professional training in pastry school. They just thought that it would be fun to open up a cupcake shop. Some of their pastry ignorance has been shown many times on their reality show. As a hobby and semi pro baker I shake my head at the ignorance.

The cupcakes are good. Just not bomb diggity good. I’m not really a fan of buttercream frosting. I had a chocolate cupcake and a chocolate cake pop. My boyfriend had a chocolate chip mint cupcake.
The inside of the store is pink and cute. I really loved the box our cupcakes came in; it’s too pretty to throw away! I saved it and will use it for future arts and crafts.

Nothing spectacular but the cupcakes are decent and they are always consistent. The store is like a Katy Perry concert stage and it’s always fun to pick out your favorite cupcake.

instead taking the bus on Robson St.
I put-​it to the test and it’s a way more faster by walk.
I’m getting lost here… So my favorite cupcakes are the DIVAS (so me because the icing is pink and pink is my favorite color) and the Red Velvet are DELICIOUS!
I love the fact the store is all PINK ;)…
The sitting are very limited and be ready for a huge line-​up.
But the cupcakes are ALWAYS fresh!

You walk in to a small store and are surrounded by a vast variety of cupcakes, mint, red velvet, chocolate, mocha, and more. Bright and clean with a very friendly person behind the counter… Then again, how can you have a cupcake shop and not be friendly.
The person behind the counter greeted us with a big cheerful smile and asked if we needed any assistance. I asked her what kind of assistance I would need picking out some cupcakes and she said that people always asked her a few questions:
What’s your favorite?
What’s the special of the day?
What’s the most popular
They are $ 3.50 each and we decided on the Chocolate Mocha and Red Velvet. This place was conveniently by our Hotel (The Oceanside Hotel) and a quick walk to the waterfront.
I definitely recommend this place especially if the kids are with you… Both you and them will feel like kids in the candy shop.

Die besten cupcakes in Vancouver!!!
Eigentlich mag ich süßkram nicht so, aber cupcakes sind eine eigene Liga. Die kleinen Kuchen muss man einfach mal probieren.
Ich war in mehreren Cupcake Läden in der Stadt aber diese hier waren eindeutig die leckersten!
Außerdem hat cupcakes on Denman die größte auswahl an verschiedenstens Sorten :)
Und sehr süß: Es gibt fast alle Cupcakes auch in Mini, so kann man mehrere verschieden probieren! TOP!
Wer mal nach Vancouver kommt, sollte hier unbedingt vorbeischaun.
