This place is a hidden gem! The food is delicious and they give you a good amount of meat, sauce and veggies in the wraps. Love the chicken shawarmas!

Got the lamb plate, it was $ 13.75 in total I think. Very flavourful and filling! The lamb was moist and tender. Pita bread was underwhelming. Super yummy, I’ll likely be back to try their other items!
Note: They accept credit card but you’ll have to pay an extra $ 0.45. No extra charge for debit or cash, obvi. They can do take out. I went in and placed my order, then ran some errands and came back to pick it up.

This place is phenomenal. Genuinely some of the best donair around. Everything is incredibly fresh.

Food prepared with care! Great portions, wonderful flavours. Will be sure to come back and try something else. The falafel plate was delish!

My husband and I stop by this place because we missed shawarma and boy were we glad that we stopped by. Please be very patient when you come here. It is run by only 1 person. But it was so worth the wait. We will definitely be coming back.

Excellent service, just call and pick up the amazing dinner 15 minutes later. Flavourful, large portion and affordable. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Five stars for the $ 13.00 (incredibly reasonable) lamb plate. It heaps with fall-​off-​the-​bone lamb, served on rice along with a little beet salad, Greek salad, pita, and a modest dollup of hummous. Flavorful and generous.
The digs are nothing to write home about… but who cares when the value and taste are there!

I’ve been on a quest for a good shawarma recently, after having delicious shawarma in the UK and out east in Toronto. I even had amazing shawarma in Australia, although there they call it kebab! Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find anything here that stacks up with what I found in other cities, but this place is one of the best I’ve had here so far. All the ingredients were fresh and the sauces were really tasty, but there wasn’t much meat in it, and as with the other places I tried, the pita wasn’t very good — kinda dry. The ones I had in other cities tasted so chewy and fresh.
My quest continues!

The food is delicious, portion is huge, and the price is great! They make food freshly in house even down to the salads, so it might take a little bit for the food to be ready, but it’s definitely worth the wait!

¹⁰⁄₁₀ great. Best falafel I’ve ever had. Chicken Shawarma + 1 side falafel = two meals. Fresh, crisp veggies… always! 2 little olives on top of the hummus. yummmm. The owner is the super inviting and friendly. The best part is the falafels are made on demand — crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside ~dream falafel~ — opposed to being pre-​made then microwaved. Make sure you add the hot sauce.

Hidden little gem that deserves more attention. The lamb wrap and chicken wrap that I’ve had were delicious and fresh. The owner is very nice and gave us fast and excellent service

Had to go to a shop near this place and wanted to grab some lunch. Small quaint dining area. Very clean.
Service was excellent. Food was better than expected. Chicken was juicy and flavourful unlike a lot of other Shawarma places that dry out the meat. Lots of sauces add to flavour. Hummus is great.

Love this place. The price is really good and the food too. Ask for your wrap with everything and SPICY and he’s got it dialled in for deliciousness. They deep fry the falafel to order and the chicken is dang tasty. It can take a little bit longer if he’s busy (one man show) but its worth it. You can also call your order in ahead or do what I do and place the order, walk to Cedar Cottage on the corner to pick up my beers for the evening then walk back to pay and eat. Ive got the timing down perfect.

Casa shawarma is my new shawarma heaven! The shawarma here is amazingly seasoned, flavorful and juicy… just plain perfection. Our party of two decided to drop by today for lunch and I am so, so glad we did. From the first bite we were blown away by how fresh and wonderfully home made everything tasted. My dining partner and I couldn’t stop complimenting the food in between bites. The portion size for the shawarma platter was pretty amazing — big mound of meat and a generous amount of delicious sauce with plenty of fresh salad. While paying the bill we chatted with the nice man who prepared & served the food and I was impressed to hear that pretty much everything is made in-​house, from the marinade for the shawarma to the garlic sauce & the hummus! It’s obvious that the owners take great pride in their food, something which I very much appreciate. I’ve already spread the word about Casa Shawarma and will be bringing family and friends there. Can’t wait to try the falafel next visit!

The food here is unreal and bursting with flavour. Had their falafel wrap because I was craving falafel and wow! Best falafel in the city. Don’t miss this place, the people working here are outstanding as well.

My husband and I just recently moved to Vancouver with out 6 month old son. Trying to find new restaurant staples we came here. We each got the chicken shawarma plates and it was delicious! Gave our son some pita bread, we are doing baby led weaning, and he loved the bread! Would definitely come again!
Quick tip! My husband and I aren’t big on rice so we didn’t finish it all, the owner said next time to let him know if we want more salad instead, he can customize the plates to suit us better! Super nice guy and delicious food!

Wow so good. If I visit Vancouver again in the future, I would revisit this place. Had chicken plate, wow! Very large portion, but still can’t help to eat them all. Highly recommend. Don’t be afraid of the sketchy décor, you come for the food.

Very very tasty. Go there now! They make the humus by hand. I get the chicken plate. They remember my preferences every time I come in! Friendly. The salad is really good and has beets in it. I little hidden gem. I heart it!
