There have been two cats killed right next to this park by the same dog that was allowed off-​leash. Dog owners need to be more responsible before they allow their dogs off-​leash. Who knows what this dog is going to attack next — maybe a small child?
All dogs need to be on a leash in this small park.

This is our turnaround point on our daily walk from where we live. The park is elevated above Burrard Inlet and with great views of the mountains to the north. Good place for a picnic or BBQ. Burrard View is a dog and family friendly park. There’s an open area that’s off-​leash. It’s on trial right now so please, pet owners, pick up after your pooch and keep this park tail wagger friendly. Many locals have dogs in the area so it’s a very social park.
This is really a sweet part of East Van to walk around in and check out some homes with character and I don’t think many Vancouverites know about it.
Plenty of free parking and very bicycle friendly as well.
