Bridgman Park

A quick nature walk if you are needing to find some time in the sun (and shade) for your dogs, young kids, and tots. When you first enter the park from the main entrance, there is a decent sized playground and park benches to cool off from the summer heat (very well shaded). Afterwards, you can take a quick hike along the gravel road and depending on the season, you can settle along the river bank and check out the scenery here. The path is stroller friendly though I didn’t really see any strollers at the time. There were a lot of large dogs playing fetch in the river that day. Though, our kids had a pretty decent time at the playground and the walk wasn’t too grueling for them either.
