Came by to do some work on my phone. Going into the store sure beats talking to customer service a lot of the times, though the latter has improved in recent years. I had a few questions on my plan, and they were able to answer them all. Needed some changes made, and they took care of that in minutes. The reviews here seem to be hit or miss, but for me it was a hit this time.

02/o3 — 9:45am. ** ROBELLUS, ROAR *** I think the first thing Bell teaches their staff is how to patronize a customer. I have more bad experiences than good with Bell. The latest experience while trying to remove the voicemail icon from my phone. For some reason, even though I have no voicemail on my phone and no way to access it, the VM icon keeps showing up. I went by on two separate occasions to troubleshoot it. The man behind the desk told me to call. After negative experiences with CSRs I decided I would come back to the store when I had more time. That was this morning. I mean, the store is not even open for 15 minutes and the young man in the store is already having an attitude with me? I am frustrated customer, third time back to the store, sorry if I am not dripping in sunshine. I have a problem with my phone for two weeks that has not been fixed. What all these people do not know is I worked for a major cellular company so I know how they work. I went through six weeks of training then worked straight FT for 6 months. Please do not push off my trouble shooting ideas like they are useless. When I suggested 1. Activating the VM, then 2. leaving a message. 3. Delete the new message and hope the VM icon disappears from the phone display. 4. when the icon disappears remove the voicemail. How difficult is that to understand? Just frustrated with Bell on so many levels. Thanks the gods for no more contracts.

Reliable cellular service and great customer service. Any problems, just visit or call the store. Jeff at Oakridge was particularly helpful. It’s expensive like all the other carriers. Tip: Try and get a business, corporate, or student plan and save!

Really thinking of switching over, from Shaw; seems like for the basic TV, even with over 100 channels, including some high def, it’s just $ 37/mth…of course, with a 2 yr contract! But does include free installation, 1 satellite dish &1PVR/receiver. Includes warranty too. So now just have to compare with Shaw later, but I know my bill’s over $ 60/mth. And if i bundle my cell phone, that’s another $ 15/mth off cable — just shows how much profit margin for these big telecom firms… Hmm, maybe i should drop it down to 2 stars… Sales guy arminder pretty knowledgeable, knows his stuff.
