Of all the places I’ve had Gulab Jamuns… this one was the best. Good news is they have 2 locations: Scarborough and Mississauga. and the jamuns taste the same… great consistency.

Meat patties were tasty, puff pastries were not bad, mithai was okay but expensive for what it was.

We got some samosas from here today and were not impressed. Very oily and with 0.75 for each samosa, they were pretty expensive as compared to other places that we have tried. The service seemed not at all friendly and turned us off more than anything else.

So yeah, I’m crazy about chicken patties. So flakey, just rightly spiced, warm. Chicken patties are awesome. I could eat chicken patties all day. My friends don’t wanna hang out with me anymore because I only ever talk about chicken patties from Shirin Mahal.
But their main business is mithai (Pakistani sweets), so that means halva, ladoos, fresh cream cakes, gulab jamun, desi cookies. Also they have nimko, beef patties and samosas. Everything is made fresh daily. And they take orders for cakes and other desserts.
The location is great. Everything is really clean, hygienic. The staff are nice in a Pakistani kind of way (that means not overly friendly). No concept of a line. Fight for your right to pay. And the quality of the baked good and mithai can vary depending on the day.

Oh my goodness, this is the reason to move to Toronto…
FRESH CHICKEN PATTIES!!! So much better than even Pakistan. The store is super clean and fresh looking. The butter cookies smell amazing and taste even better. The staff is friendly and quick to help you.
