Established in 2001.

Raindrops is owned and operated by mother/​daughter team Bobi and Natalie Jurcic, who have been in the rain gear business for nearly 20 years. They go out of their way to source unique products not just from North America but overseas as well.

Surprised that no reviews mentioned that they have a NO REFUNDS policy… they will only exchange for another item within 30 days. I’ve actually never come across this policy before for non-​clearance items (granted I was living in the US before that has probably the worlds best return policies). But this rule is really bad for people like me, who often don’t spend enough time the 1st time around and so end up buying something «wrong», and then having to return it. When I came back to exchange, I turns out they had nothing that I needed in my size (Large), so I ended up just getting something that I was kind of indifferent about.
As for pricing, I’d say that most of the men’s waterproof/​resistant raincoats is in the $ 100 – 200 range. There are a few items in the $ 50 – 100 range.
The store does have a pretty big range, but it’s mainly umbrellas and boots, that I suspect most people are looking for. I didn’t see the prices of these.

I stumbled across the Raindrops website when searching for rainboots for my three-​year-​old daughter. The styles and prices were very attractive and I ended up communicating with Natalie and Bobi Jurcic to arrange an in-​store pickup. I received some of the best customer service I’ve ever had! I can see why Raindrops has been in business for so long.
From the exceptional customer service to the gorgeous products to the great prices, I highly recommend Raindrops. And if you’re not in Toronto, you can order online! I love finding good quality for an even better deal. Thanks again to Natalie, Bobi and Monique!

Today’s GEM Is Not Your Average Small Business. This Mom And Daughter Shop Of Bobi And Natalie Jurcic Has Been Around For 20 Yrs, Since Natalie Was 10, Where They Used To Just Sell Umbrellas… building Up To Children’s Wear, Women’s Wear And Then Men’s Wear Of A Higher Fashion. I Love The Concept Of Making Rain Gear Fashionable, Especially For Children. What Child Wouldn’t Want To Wear Frog, Batman Or Cupcake Raingear?
The Original Raindrops Shop Opened In 2001 In The Historic Fairmont Royal York Hotel In Toronto, Is Now In The Holt Renfew Centre Located At 50 Bay Street West. Having Met Both Bobi And Natalie It Is Not Hard To See Why They Are Doing So Well. Not Only Praises To Their Online And Retail Strength But Also Their Strong Friendly Customer Service Is A Great Reason For Me To Tell Someone Else To Go And For Myself To Return. I Hope You Enjoy This GEM Of Toronto As Much As I Did. See You Tomorrow! What’s Next?

You can find stuff like raincoats, boots, umbrellas and such at this store. It sells just basically anything that is needed for rainy days. I bought a coat here because it once suddenly started raining, which I’m still wearing to this date! They are pretty cheap so you know where to head if you happen to have left your house unprepared for the weather.

They have a large collection of umbrellas with different shapes (some are super light and others are very elegant …)
