History

Established in 1994.

Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, Queen Street West is home to many of Canada’s oldest and most cherished music venues. The area near Bathurst is well known for its unique venues offering alternative music selections. Some of these venues have closed as the area has gentrified, such as the Big Bop, but a few favourites still remain, including Bovine, Velvet Underground, and Nocturne (formerly Savage Garden).
