More Than Pies Baking

Favourite neighborhood bakery and café. Coffee is delicious and even the sprout salads are something I crave. Now, the baked goods… well…they are out of this world. Absolutely delectable. My favourite are their scones and I often stop in to buy up all of their day olds for friends and family. They are just so good!!!
I have ordered platters for meetings and the staff are a joy. My kids love going there and are always treated like «people» and sometimes get a free cookie just because… well, because this bakery is a part of our community. Thank you to More Than Pies, for all that you do.

I don’t know if I can properly review this place since I didn’t get the coffee I wanted, Their machine was down but the guy did offer me drip coffee which was good, for a reduce price, so I dont really have anything bad to say.
He mentioned that his beans where local from a shop nearby, they have so many baked good, I guess I came too late as they sold out of most of their things, Mind this was 4pm when I stop but that just means they are good to be hard to keep in stock, especially their lemon square that seem to have been feature in Toronto Star, good sign to me
The guy was friendly nice and informative, and with offer on the coffee and it was still good just means I will have to make a return one day to enjoy their coffee and pies.
I enjoy my experience despite things mentioned above, I will be back one day to give this place a real review

We have purchased the scones from the Humber Bay Shores Farmer’s market and enjoyed them. A bit on the large side, but tasty and tender. Thus, we were surprised when we purchased a rhubarb/​strawberry pie this weekend for the exorbitant price of $ 18 that the experience was so poor.
The crust was very tough — tougher than I would expect from even a supermarket pie and the filling did not have much fruit. I would have expected something closer to homemade for the price (and the name of the bakery.) I will be returning the remaining half of the pie to the bakery this week to see how they respond. If the experience then is good, I may up the rating.

My fav go-​to place in Long Branch for early morning coffee. More Than Pies serves Birds & Beans coffee and always have almond milk, the service is great.
I haven’t tried any of their treats because I’m always focused on caffeine at 8:30am, I know that they make a lot of goodies to order and can do GF and Vegan.
