This place is by far the best in the neighbourhood. You should call ahead to make an appointment between Thursday and Saturday as they tend to be busy. Service was great. Nails look great. No complaints. The place is a bit quaint but honestly, given the job they do, I didn’t mind at all. The youngest girl does great manicures(if it’s not busy, she upgrades a polish change with shaping, cuticles, etc for no charge.) The guy, who is new, did a great job on my mani pedi. He’s not super talkative or anything so if you want a quiet de stressing time, ask for him. This is only hearsay, but I was told that Adele went here before performing in Toronto. Not sure if this is true, but kind of a cool story.

Walked just after 11 a.m. and did not get out until 3 p.m. Rude and abrasive treatment. Dirty salon, loud atmosphere, mediocre results and not cheap. Ugh! Won’t go back. Dissatisfied.

This place was recommended to me from people at my hair salon located right across the street from Jade Nails Salon. I was desperate for a manicure so I decided to give it a try. I was looking to get french shellac, but they didn’t have it. I decided to go with the most natural looking shellac, however, I was not happy with it. My shellac did not last at all, not even a week. It started to peel off and that should not happen with shellac if it is hardened properly. The nail technician did not follow the appropriate steps, after all, shellac is a pretty«new» thing, but if your’e going to offer it, you might as well do it right. Maybe it was because I was the last customer of the day, who knows! My pedicure however, that was done by Jade herself was really good. It lasted for weeks, and she was very friendly. The prices are also reasonable.

I’ve been going to Jade Nails for a couple years now. They offer the standard services you get at all nail places located all over the city… but from the places I’ve been to Jade’s is by far the best. Now I’m very picky when it comes to the shape and look of my nails. The technician’s here are friendly and they don’t get upset when you tell them you don’t like something or if you want them to reshape your nails. As for the pedicures they’re pretty fantastic, not going to lie. Obviously this isn’t the Stillwater or the Elmwood but for your bimonthly fills and your monthly pedicures when you’re not indulging Jade Nails is the place to go. As far as cost goes it’s cheap and pretty comparable to other similar places in the city but their expertise and service is superior. I would also suggest making an appointment because it does get busy thurs-sat. but you can walk-in and they should be able to fit you in, if not then really it’s worth coming back at whatever time they say.
