I’ve been here a couple times over the years. The menu is as extensive as ever and this tiny little bar gets packed in quite fast, even on a weeknight! I think this place is fantastic for having so many options that there literally is a martini for everyone. However, the menu is completely dysfunctional, especially in a crowded and dark bar. In my experience the service is always helpful and pleasant and on my last visit, for a birthday, I discovered that there is a back area that can become a mini dance floor. Normally this area has a few tall tables and chairs but if you knocked those sitting against the walls, there’s enough space for 10 people to dance haha.

Wasn’t sure about the décor but the never ending list of martini’s was kinda cool and everything we ordered was great.

Came there for drinks on Sunday night and the place was closed. The website mentionned they were opened from 6 pm to midnight(got there at 7 pm). Then, I tried to call and the number mentioned that they are not accepting incoming calls. Very disappointed, lost time over this in the cold wheather. Not impressed.

Brad and I came here after dinner on Saturday. We were planning on bar crawling and this would be our first stop. But we just stayed here all night. The Bartender was very helpful! Over 130 drinks on the menu but there is a smaller menu with the top 50 drinks on it. The first one I ordered was Holy Water. It was delicious! After that I just ordered the Vodka Red Bull. Which is always great. I now wish I had tried different martinis. But I guess we will just have to come back. Brad just drank Jack and Cokes all night. I think the bill came to about $ 40 for 3 drinks each. The best part was the atmosphere! I love watching music videos and it played a lot of different music. I definitely want to come back!

Come here an embarrassing amount to gossip with girlfriends about boys we’re banging, boys we’d like to bang, boys who turned us down for banging. I’ve tried about half the martinis on the menu. That is an insane amount if you have any concept of how extensive the menu is. Most of them are delicious except the Turkey one(avoid!!). Anything with aloe vera, chocolate, peanut butter, vodka, triple sec, or cran juice is a good bet. Staff are so nice! Non-judgey about the extensive amount of privileged people problems we have. Oh and I don’t like the new glasses. I’m assuming the old ones were getting spilled too much. But c’mon EMM, the glasses are already plastic, can we at least have them martini-shaped?

Huge, huge list of Martinis. Prices aren’t bad at all. They have some good specials, and a cute little patio to people watch when the weather is nice. The service was good. I would come back here for some girly drinks.

Went here on a Saturday night and really was not too impressed. The waitress really did not seem too friendly or attentive. The drinks were really sugary and didn’t seem like what a martini should taste like. I would not come back if in the area.

Me and my best friend came here for drinks over a year ago. late review but I’m going to review it either way. Honestly, hopefully they do not remember me, because they kicked me out for being overly drunk, and I didn’t know I was drunk until my words got slurred. The drinks either tasted like food or desserts or candy, so I even forgot I was drinking alcohol. the drinks were so damn good, I had like 11 drinks! I’m sure the lady forgot about me now, I’m definitely going to go back though, this time with drinking more carefully. I’m not even a big drinker, it just happened to taste so freaking good man, I swear I didn’t notice I was drunk, lolol. Me and my friend could barely call our cab as we were drink, and instead of kicking us out, she should of called us a cab. yes we were being loud and a bit out there like orbits, but as her job as a bartender she could of called the cab for us. That’s why only 4 stars, besides that, don’t mind my story go there for the drinks and you will not regret. I don’t at least hehe: P

I see a lot of other people are complaining about the service in their reviews but that wasn’t my experience, my waitress was attentive, polite, and brought us our drinks fairly quickly. The martinis however were nothing special, they tasted like regular mixed drinks served in Martini glasses. When I first arrived there weren’t very many people there but it quickly filled up and became too loud to have a conversation in. The waitress agreed with us on that point when she brought our bill and wished us good luck on finding another more quiet bar. The bill came to a total of $ 28 with tip I believe for four drinks so there may have been some sort of drink special going on but I would say that the prices are fairly low here. Good place for cheap drinks if you’re with a large group of people but I probably won’t return.

Went here on Sunday(Thanksgiving weekend) and not unexpected that it was kinda dead. Probably everyone had food coma! There is an extensive list of martinis, so much so that it made my head swirl! I can’t remember the ones that I tried but they were all good. This place has a dark ambiance about it… I can easily see how someone who isn’t a 10 can be mistaken for a 10. You can’t see shit… or maybe I am old and my eyesight is failing. There is a patio section in the front, but obviously due to the cold weather it wasn’t set up. Overall not a bad place… but I wouldn’t recommended getting drunk here… lord only knows what number you will go home with :) haha

I have been to Eat My Martini many times and will keep on returning. I mostly come on Thursdays(which is great because the martinis are priced at $ 5 and the shots at $ 3– awesome). However, on a Friday-Saturday night the price jumps to $ 6 and $ 4 shots(not a big deal and still an awesome price). Thursday nights it gets pretty packed and has music– does for a great evening as well but Saturdays is very energetic and fun. People stand around by the bar because the place can get pretty packed. Everyone is socializing, enjoying themselves and surprisingly a great mix of men and women. The male waiter with the curly hair is fantastic– I’ve had him a couple of times and he is very knowledgeable and makes great recommendations based on what we like– he is also very honest if we ask him about certain drinks. 9 times out of 10 I have loved my drinks. Adored the Ricki Martini(which I thought was a funny clever name), Spanish Fly(the first time I had it was amazing but the second time it wasn’t very cold which made it taste funny, still good). Cha Cha Cha(is strong and delicious), Social Engineer is another one of my favourites. The one that I absolutely wanted to die while drinking was Electrify? It’s blue and tastes horrible– YUCK, not my kind of drink. But then again, I never thought I’d be a martini kinda gal, so I have to dislike something lol. The décor is cute, it’s dim in there so brighter candles or table lights would help for reading the menu. They also have a patio, I just wish it was a little bigger so more people could enjoy a nice martini on a summer night. The only thing that I found odd was 2 times that I went there we had a weird experience with other guests that were there. One time a group off odd males(4 of them) decided to invite themselves over to our table(who are you?) and order us rounds of drinks. It was my birthday so I said why not but it got way out of hand when they kept wanting to order us more. Our waiter stopped bringing the drinks because he knew we wanted to go and gave one of my friends the bill(our initial bill before they invited themselves over) as she went to the washroom hah. Another time, a very intoxicated girl wanted my friend and I to join her on the patio and have some drinks with her male friends. we said thank you for the invite but we are just catching up and chatting here. When we left(after she was even more polluted) she screamed«BYE thanks for leaving me alone out here, so nice of you». Wtf? Next time if you don’t like who you are with– leave. or better yet call up your own friends. Very strange. Regardless, that is not Eat my Martini’s fault, all I am saying is watch out for some of the folks there… they may rub ya the wrong way. Try it out folks. They have a martini for everyone(everyone someone like myself who is a wine lover).

I went last night for my friends birthday and it was alright. Maybe I’m not a martini person but I did not enjoy any of the drinks I had except Noah’s Ark, only because it tasted like pure grape juice. Everything else I had tasted way too sugary and I started to get a stomachache. The other people I with did enjoy pretty much everything that they had though so if you’re into martinis, then I guess you’ll be happy. The food that we had did not look very appetizing but my friends and I were pleasantly surprised by the taste! The calamari was breaded a little too heavily for my liking but was cooked perfectly! The warm goat cheese salad was ok — the cheese was put onto a piece of bread and you definitely got the balsamic vinegar taste in the salad dressing. Lastly, and most amazingly, was the spinach dip! When you go to most pubs/restaurants, you get more liquid but this dip was jam packed with spinach and artichokes which was really nice and filling. My biggest issue with the food was not the food itself but the time that the kitchen closed! Online, it said 1am and when we got there, we were told 10pm and had to get our orders in by 9:30pm. Seemed a little strange… They’re a martini bar, they should be providing food for their customers to eat but I guess they’re not into that. We noticed that the venue got jam packed around 1030⁄11 to the point where going to the bathroom was a bit of a hassle. The music was so great that my friends and I wished that there was a dance floor that we could use but the place is pretty small so that was not an option. Our waiter was fantastic! He was well versed in the menu and was really great with drink selections for some of us who didn’t know which to choose(there is a crazy among of choices). Our waiter worked as fast as he could considering that there were only two bartenders tending to the crazy amount of people in the bar. I feel like giving this place three stars is a little low but I wouldn’t get it a four — three and a half would have been sufficient. Everyone should try this place out, it was kind of cool to see the variety of martinis but for me, this is not a place that I would jump to get back to.

LOVE the martinis here! Strong and tasty drinks! The price($ 6 martini & $ 4 mixed drink, tax included)! The selection(over 130 martinis)! And they have decent food! Sure, the place is small, and the front patio even smaller(but oh so cute!). But the staff is friendly, and did I mention the martinis?

Can’t beat it as an in-between place for cheap booze. The $ 6 mostly vodka martinis rejuvenated us nicely in between dinner and the after party.

Never again. I ordered their spin on a caesar, called«The Dirty Mexican,» which is problematic in and of itself, but whatever. It’s tequila, clamatto, and some«mexican spices.» It was totally undrinkable. Like completely, absolutely, totally disgusting. Four of us sipped it(three of whom were bartenders) and we all agreed that combination of ingredients had no business existing(or that someone had been a little heavy handed with something they should not have been.) It was a tremendously disgusting and unbalanced cocktail. I told the bartender as such(to which the correct response is: «I’m so sorry, can I make you something else?) and she responded with enough attitude(«Well, we’re very clear about what is in them so this doesn’t happen,») that my drinking mates all whispered«Ooooh, she HATES you,» when she walked away. I took the initiative to order something else; she charged me for both. If you are a bar that specializes in «fancy cocktails», you need to understand that they are like food items in a restaurant: they can’t suck, and if they suck, you need to make it right(or at least not be incredibly rude and condescending when you address it.) At the very least: start with«I’m sorry to hear that.» Some hospitality training is sorely needed.

Un endroit hyper sympa dans le Little Italy de Toronto ! La carte regroupe plus de 120 recettes de martini toutes plus originales les unes que les autres et a des prix très abordables(5 $ le verre) ! De quoi passer une excellente soirée avec des amis !

They have special martini pricing — $ 6 each for Friday and Saturday, and $ 5 each for the other days of the week. If you’re like me, and don’t mind boozing up a little(or a lot) on a weekday, then this is quite a deal. They have a hugeeeeee menu of martinis — hugeeeeeee. Definitely more than 100 options. It was quite overwhelming at first to figure out what to get. So many options. I cannot emphasize this more. It took us 20 minutes just to go through the menu, which is hard since the text is tiny. From what I can tell, their martinis fall under three categories: fruity, creamy, and pure booze. The fruity ones come with all sorts of garnishes and fruit liqueurs — I don’t even remember which ones I ordered, because honestly they’re all kind of similar. A tinge of alcohol combined with some combination of fruity juice, served shaken with a skewer of another combination of fruits. We had quite a few of the fruity ones — bright colors, sufficiently girly. The creamy ones were a little weird — a lot of Kahlua, Baileys, Crème de Cacao, butterscotch liqueur. The one I ordered, the Nervosa, had Baileys and coffee liqueur. When it came it was very white and thicker than milk — it looked and felt like I was drinking straight up cream. Strange experience, and it was kind of sickeningly sweet and hard to finish. You can also order ones that have no mixers and are just straight alcohol mixtures. They one that’s vodka, rum and goldschlager, which was pretty fun except for the sad lack of the gold flakes we were excited about :( The straight«Eat My Martini» plain martini came with six olives — major brownie points for that. Actual food looks disappointing. Fries come in big portions but don’t look very appetizing. Pretty flirty bartenders too. Gets very crowded on the weekend evenings, but if you go earlier on the weekends and anytime on the weekday seating shouldn’t be a problem.

Been out of town and took the time to return to EMM. Yup. Still standing. And still a Lil’ Italy gem– the martini selection can’t be beat(I’ve tried!) and it’s ideal for a pre-drink gathering or a girl’s night out. I couldn’t even name a fave tini if I wanted to, they’re really THAT many and THAT good. Only complaint is music is often too loud and some of the waiters think the refills will order themselves. Guess it’s part of the casual tone it sets. Also considering it’s a «lounge», the seating is not very comfortable. I’d say it’s more of a midscale dive if such a thing exists. Plus with a few martinis in me, I wish there were a proper dance floor I could take advantage of and not call the next day. I RECOMMEND: going on Thursdays for a steal on prices.

The streets of Little Italy were packed and even with the cooling temperatures of the evening, the sweat ran down my face as the ambient body temperature of festival goers and limited access to liquid was dehydrating me fast. Bar after bar had line ups to get in and I felt as if my crusade for liquid libations may never end. Enter Eat My Martini. Friends had spoken highly of their list of over 130, $ 6 martini mixes so when there also appeared to be a lack of line I decided to check it out. The patio was packed but we were told that if we ventured inside that there would be plenty of seating available. LIES. Not only was there a total lack of seating, but the little seats they did have were filled. BOOOO. No matter, I can sit when I’m dead, I was here with a whistle wetting purpose and I would not be denied. Stepping up to the bar I grabbed the menu and realized the issue with 130+ cocktails is that they don’t fit legibly on a 2 sided menu — especially not well in a dark crowded bar. As others have said — aesthetically pleasing to look at YES, Functional NO. After my iPhone shined some light on the situation(literally) I selected the S.O.B as my first martini(vodka w/strawberry and banana juice). It was tasty but a little too fruity for my pallet. With over 130 choices it would be a sin to not try at least one more so I decided that I would Live la Vida Loca and order up a Ricki Martini. Much to my chagrin this second choice(a bartenders recommendation) was the William Hung of Ricki Martini’s and she Boom’d far more than she Bang’d. This place loses points for menu readability and the lack of seating. But for saving my bacon and re-hydrating me in the midst of a potential street festival fiasco, Eat My Martini is my Hero.
