1925Workbench specialize in barn door hardware, custom barn door and custom furniture. All of our products are fabricated right at our shop in Toronto.

History

Established in 2013.

It started when we bought our house that was built in 1925. After fixing it up, we wanted a sliding barn door for the powder room, but the prices for the hardware were too high. Rock decided to design and make the hardware himself. And he did. After that, the house needed to be furnished… because of the incredible marked up on handmade, made-​in-​Canada furniture, we decided to make our own, and in doing so, we realized this is what we are meant to do.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

In his previous life, Rock was a network engineer working for telecommunication firm in Toronto. Little did he realized that building his own wooden toys as child has fired up a passion for building barn doors and furniture to hip up the homes of Toronto and across Canada. Today, you can find Rock in his workshop immerse in woodworking, and at home enjoying a drink surrounded with furniture, and barn doors that he made (to much of the demand from My Le, his wife, and business partner).
