I really like their beef phở & deep fried Vietnamese spring rolls here while my boyfriend loves their rice dishes & Vietnamese sandwiches. It’s a spacious restaurant with lots of seating & big TVs hanging around. Great to grab a quick grub or meet up with friends to catch up. The staff there are very friendly & fast with getting your orders in & delivering it onto your table. I recently tried their frozen durian smoothie & it has became one of the reasons why I keep coming back, it’s so delicious(if you have that acquired taste & love durian you need to try this drink!) I also appreciate the fact they all wear uniforms, it gives me confidence about the cleanliness of the restaurant unlike the typical phở restaurants where the staff looks like they just dropped off the kids at school & can give two cents. Great food, atmosphere, & service. Can’t beat that! :)

Just got the house special and it was pretty good to me! Service is as expected from a Vietnamese restaurant. Super modern inside and most of the servers speak English as well. Not much else I can say as it was nothing special but it wasn’t as disgusting as other places can be LOL Would I come back? sure :)

I’m not super fussy on the«varieties» of phở — they all taste yummy to me. The low rating on this restaurant comes directly from the service. This is our second time here and it wasn’t much different from the first visit, months ago. The food is fine, but the servers pretty well ignore you and aren’t very friendly — which translates as rude and not nice. Some people don’t mind the disposition of their servers as long as the food is good, but I guess I still appreciate good ol’ fashioned friendliness and quality customer service. Since phở shops are a dime a dozen, we’ll simply choose to go elsewhere for the time being.

Just came for a quick lunch. Pretty much ok all around. Nothing too special but nothing horrible. Location was good as it was on a busy street and easy to find. Parking was good. Restaurant was clean. Wifi didn’t work for me and employee had no clue why.

Good service but average food. Busy! Nice staff but small restaurant. The owners are friendly and seven is decent. Will go again but maybe in the afternoon when a little less crowed.

Reasonable prices and food is good, especially the banh mi(pork sandwich). Phở soup tasted a little different than other phở we’ve had(my husband and I both noticed this). That was probably the only negative. Inside is very big and clean.

Nice clean restaurant and very reasonably priced. My family and I have been here several times. The food is good and if you like red beans, they do a great red bean dessert which we always make sure we leave room for. Some of the servers have very limited English so if you want to order something outside of the menu it can be a challenge. My daughter is a vegetarian and wanted to order the shrimp wrap without the meat. When it came up the meat was in it but they got it right the second time around.

First Phở’99 I’ve been too, I’m pretty impress for a Phở joint. Usually, some Phở joints are a hole in a wall, but have amazing food. This restaurant is modern and spacious inside. The rice dish I order was delicious. I definitely like how this Phở joint takes credit cards and debit.

I used to think all Phở tasted pretty much the same — not much difference; its just the ambiance of the restaurant — clean or unclean; loud or fairly normal. However after I ate here, i clearly recognized that not all Phở’s taste the same. I went with my husband and brother in law and we all thought it was poor.

I’ve eaten at quite a few Phở 99’s and I generally have the same feeling through all of them. The service is great and the restaurants are usually very clean, but then we get to the food. Personally I ordered the wonton soup with egg noodle but all 3 of my friends ordered various Phở soups, the general consensus from them was that the broth was bland. Also, a friend ordered bun no hue and it was completely tame, it’s generally a very spicy soup when it’s ordered! With so many selections around this area now I definitely won’t come back to Phở 99.

Restaurant just opened for 2 weeks. A friend recommended that we try it. Ordered combo rolls appy to share, beef noodles for me, and wonton noodles for my husband. Everything we ordered were fresh and delicious. 2nd best Vietnamese Phở I’ve had in lower mainland, 1st is my sister’s home cook phở. Restaurant is new, therefore looks clean, roomy and comfortable. Prices are reasonable, and portions were perfect for us.(We ordered«small» bowls and they were plenty.) I have to admit living in Surrey has stripped me from finding a good authentic Asian restaurant. I grew up in Vancouver with Asian heritage, and loving all kinds of food. After trying Phở 99, I am very happy and excited that this will be my go-to place from now on. There’s a good selection on the menu for both lunch and dinner. They even have my favourite VM sandwiches and red bean slushies. I will definitely be back and hope to find«consistency» as that would the the 5th star that is missing from my ratings of this restaurant.
