We ordered a coconut pineapple slush. Drink was pretty good. They also deliver to SFU if you place an order of 4 or more drinks. Prices are average.

I honestly have no complains about this place when I walked in like 15 mins before they closed and yet they didn’t kick us out even pass the time they closed. My friends and I sat down for a good 30 mins before we left. I gotta say they have some really nice staff there. Then again we tried our best to not get in their way of cleaning up. My friends and I all ordered the same drink and it was the roasted milk tea with grass jelly. Man it was really good and I’m craving it right now when I’m typing up this review. I’m hoping to grab one very soon. hehe. But maybe at one of the closer locations in downtown. I suggest you all to give this place a shot. It’s another one of my go to bubble tea places.

Another Chatime?! That means another DUKE status for me lol. Ya. shows that I go too much… Whoever is reading would think so if I did get the status… Chatime is pretty standard amongst all the locations everywhere, which ever one you go to, in terms of their drinks and taste its all the same. EXCEPT… the Aberdeen one. That one. not a clue how it’s so different from the others but it just sucks… Surrey Chatime is conveniently located on King George and close to Surrey Central and somewhat close to the Skytrain. Unfortunately, the plaza they’re located in is pretty crappy… The plaza is small and looks deserted. There are only 5 other businesses inside this place not including Chatime… I can totally see the next door Work Force employees coming for a drink… Not the greatest plaza to put a Chatime imo. Despite the location the place inside is standard, not too big but enough to sit a good number of people. At the time when I went, it was at noon therefore I think it had just opened so no one was there except for me so no line up, so nothing to say about that! Got the all time favorite roasted milk tea and taste is normal as always. Addicting like DRUGZ! Glad to see that anywhere now you go around the greater vancouver area there’s a chatime so definitely no shortage there, but finding the good one is always the question ;)

Aw, reading the unhappy reviews makes me sad because I love Chatime! Well, I really only love ONE drink… 4 stars because there have been no issues with service every time I’ve gone to this location, this bubble tea place always has seats available, and our drinks never fail! The only thing I’ve had — roasted milk tea, with less sugar and less ice, with grass jelly. My absolute favourite! My friends and I have only really come to this location in the evening, around 9 – 10? on the weekends. And we’ve always managed to grab a table. Unlike the location in Burnaby, which seems to be ALWAYS busy. The workers there don’t mind if we sit there for a couple of hours, long after our drinks are done. Any other suggestions on what to try at Chatime? Much appreciated!

I’ve been to the Burnaby and Richmond location and did not think any less of this location but I’ve got to say… F-ing terrible. It might have been because I was there at noon and it was just opening but I ordered a Grass Jelly Roasted Milk Tea with Coconut Jelly and my brother order the Roasted Milk Tea with Pearls. I can understand the misunderstanding but she messed up on my order twice and I just can’t comprehend how because the order is on the sticker on the cup itself. I was also not told in advance that I couldn’t use my points for my drink. I was under the impression I would get a discount off of the large(she said its only for the regular drinks). That is not in her control but I was very upset that she did not clarify with me what the drink was supposed to be before messing up the second time. Leaving me a very upset customer. I will continue going to the other locations but not this one. SMH!!! Will I be coming back? I’m going to have to say no

NOTE: As part of the ChineseBites media event, all beverages were free, but all opinions are based on my own personal experience. Chatime is expanding again! For all you Surrey peeps out there, no longer do you have to make the trip to the other locations for your fix of Chatime! The newest addition is in Whalley, right next to Surrey Central in a strip mall. I was invited by ChineseBites to their soft opening and was able to try any drinks I liked. My favourite thing about Chatime is the ability to customize. You can choose the sugar and ice level. I find that most of their drinks are on the sweeter side, so 50% or less is the best. There are also many toppings to choose from and each topping is $ 0.50. I brought K along to the event since we are both fans of Chatime. Our go-to item is always the Roasted Milk Tea with Grass Jelly, but since we were able to get our drinks comped, we decided to be adventurous and try drinks we’ve never tried. The first was the Tieguanyin Tea Latte. The drink is divided into layers when you first receive it and after shaking it, you get sort of a milk tea. It’s much thicker than their normal milk tea though. The tieguanyin tea flavour really came through and is perfect for those who enjoy the tea itself. One of our new favourites. We were curious about what the Oriental Beauty was all about, so we gave it a try and added aloe vera. It turned out to be a tea based drink and was rather sweet due to the aloe vera. We couldn’t figure out what kind of tea it was, but it’s definitely one of those Chinese teas. Quite refreshing actually. K really enjoyed the Oolong Tea. We added rainbow jelly in it so it was a bit odd due to the sweetness. Also, the jelly is too big to go through the straw. The tea itself is very strong though so more on the bitter side. K loves bitterness of oolong tea so it was perfect for her. The Matcha Mousse is topped with a thick layer of cream and tastes sort of like a frappucino but without all that crushed ice. Instead, there are just ice cubes at the bottom. I thought this was average as it was quite gritty. Strong matcha flavour though. Our last cold drink we tried was the Jasmine Green Milk Tea with Grass Jelly. This is pretty good and I would order this again to change things up. The milk tea was smooth and had a nice jasmine tea fragrance to it. It was also my first time trying their hot drinks and we got the Roasted Milk Tea with Pearls. We asked for it to be warm instead of hot so that we could drink it right away. Plus, you don’t need to worry about sucking up the pearls and burning your tongue. This was great and lived up to their cold version! I would highly recommend getting this during the winter. Overall, Chatime at the Surrey location did not disappoint. Pearls are still on point with a nice chew and not overly sweet. Drinks come in two sizes and most start at around $ 4.30. This location also has a decent amount of seats for you to enjoy your drinks.

I was so looking forward for this place. Have heard nothing but good reviews, so I decide to go and satisfy my craving for bubble tea… The new place is nice. Warm feeling, menu not so hard to read/understand. I wanted a strawberry and banana smoothie, but turns out they don’t have that… I was pretty upset. So I decided to order the strawberry yogurt smoothie. As I saw the lady making my order. I was pissed. First of all, N O T H I N G is real. No real strawberries, milk, or yogurt. The ”Strawberry” is in this big glass jar that looks like jam. The yogurt was in a bottle that looked like the thing you use to put in hair dye. A R T I F I C A L to the max. I added extra pears because they are my favourite, but they were wrongly cooked. They were hard in the middle and some had a yellow colour to them. NEVER going again. How dare you ask for a tip on my debit transaction.
