I have been here 10 x’s now in the hope’s that this small family owned business will improve tremendously.
The sushi is not very good– from the sushi rice, to the miso soup, to the tempura, to the sashimi — - it needs improvement or this business will go down unfortunately and this family is very kind and sweet but the food needs serious changing and it is in a fantastic location so please change the menu around and make it more fusion and tastier!!!

I have been here several times and at first I liked it and thought it was worthwhile. The daughter of one of the cooks is so friendly maybe I was just impressed w her. The place is always empty which is not good for a business in a strip mall. There is a starbucks nearby which usually brings in traffic but not so here. I had really bad beef here one time that literally smelled like crap and left a bad taste in my mouth so that seriously turned me off this place. I still go once in awhile only because there is nothing else i like in this part of Surrey. Food is usually good and there is some care taken in preparing the food at least.

I always feed bad leaving a bad review on a small run restaurant but I think there are better places to go than this place.
Good:
The prices aren’t too bad compared to nearby Japanese restaurants. It is fairly small but it seems clean and tidy.
Bad:
The food is nothing to be wowed about. I ordered ebi sunomono, salmon and tuna combo. Tuna roll had bits of fish bones in it. Not so pleasant when you are chewing.
Ebi sunomono noodle was little too al dante.
I wish I could give them a second chance at some point but there are other places I would rather go to than come here again.
