We’ve been going here for years, and can say that they are one of the most consistent wineries in the Okanagan. We usually pick up Gewurz or Riesling, which are made in the off-dry German style. These should probably be drunk within six months of purchase for best bouquet. Sometimes they have a nice blush or sparkling for summer sipping, but these tend to sell out fast. The syrah is affordable, but you must have the patience to cellar it for a couple of years, at which point it’s on par with pricier stuff made down Osoyoos way.

While enjoying a drive to Naramata we decided to take a few moments and stop in at 8th Generation to see what they had to offer. Yolanta served up quite a selection of Whites, Reds and Rose varietals. Refer to the posted pic showcasing what you may sample for $ 4 per person which is refunded with your purchase. There is quite a list and definitely something for everyone. The hostess, Yolanta, was very friendly and genuinely happy to be there. She commented on a few occasions how much she enjoyed her job. It’s always refreshing to meet someone in her position who is engaging and makes you feel welcome! Good wine, reasonably priced, friendly atmosphere… we will definitely return!
