This is my McView. It’s like a regular review, except for McDonalds. This McDonalds holds a special place in my heart since it is right next to Brock University. Needless to say, I have been here multiple times throughout my years of study. In terms of studying, it’s not the best place since it’s usually quite loud and quite busy, but recent renovations have made it a better place to just«chill» and relax. Basically they only changed the layout and the colours. They unfortunately took down some pretty cool paintings and replaced them with generic looking wallpaper, but at least the layout is better now i.e. more booths, less tables, and more spacious. In terms of the food quality, it’s exactly what one would expect. I find there isn’t much variance in quality of food from one mcdonalds to another. A warning though.. .they WILL charge you for any extra sauces. You want a sweet and sour sauce to dip your fries? «That’ll be 50 cents please». They are quite cheap with their condiments but I guess they probably have good reason too since I’m sure broke students would definitely take advantage of free condiments(I know I would). The service in my experience, has been great. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the place I can say is well managed. I always see the employees washing the windows, mopping the floors, cleaning the washrooms etc. etc. So kudos to them! The food doesn’t vary greatly from franchise to franchise, but the service does! For that reason, this location receives a 4 star rating instead of 3. PS. SPC card at any mcdonalds now can get you a value meal for $ 4.20
