Most of the staff are friendly, upbeat, and helpful, making my shopping experiences pleasant. David, the manager, is great, and makes a point of saying hi to me, even if he is super-busy. If he has more time to chat he will take the time for more conversation. The store is generally well-organized, and things are typically easy enough to locate on my own. In the event that I cannot find items myself, staff are usually easy to find on the floor. I appreciate it when they greet me, offer me assistance, etc. before I need anything. I am deducting one star because the deli tables and condiments area are consistently dirty(even when it is not lunch time), it can take the deli staff some time before they notice someone standing at the counter.

We stopped here to shop for groceries on our way up to Whistler for a week in the cold and snow(hopefully). We were very happy with the variety and cleanliness of the store, as well as the ease of which we were able to navigate the joint. They’re the average grocery store, which has a membership card(free) that gives a guest discounts on selected items throughout the store — similar to Safeway and Foodland in our home city of Honolulu, Hawaii. We were surprised that we weren’t made to sign up for a card — since we obviously did not have one. Instead, they offered a «guest» card upon checkout … I’m sure they deal with a lot of tourists coming through. I think we saved about $ 40CAD… SCORE!!! Thank you Save On Foods. Super pleasant and helpful staff. They take ALL major credit cards, well except Discover, but who outside the US does anyway right? Pretty crowded, but it was a Saturday afternoon, so I guess that’s to be expected. I would recommend to anyone — fair prices for good products.

A few things to keep in mind 1) Make sure you bring your Save On More card 2) Homeless panhandlers run amok near the store entrance Friendly staff, decent prices, and a great selection. What else can you ask for?
