I like that they’re innovative and sure they put plenty of seafood on the pizza. But the pizza base itself lacked flavour for me and that’s why I am giving this place 4 stars.

Ordered their classic pizzas to go. They are well made and tasty. It’s only to go and you can’t sit there to eat. Come and grab a box and eat at the park or dock.

So we walk into this little tiny place with two men behind the counter. One was making pizzas from scratch and the other was taking orders. Fresh Roma tomatoes and mozzarella was next to home made pizza sauce in a silver mixing bowl. Two ladies sat at the only two seats eating what was described as a Japan pizza with wasabi infused chicken. The ladies said the pizza was delicious by the way.
So many pizzas to choose from but one caught our eyes. Across the counter the man takes out a pizza pie cover with fresh Shrimp, Prawns, crab, basil, lox, and fresh tomatoes all towering on top of a bubbly golden crust. Sounds amazing? It was! We could not order one fast enough! And when it was completed 17 minutes later, it met our expectations and then some.
For a pizza that only cost $ 35 Canadian bucks I have to give them two huge thumbs up! Creativity, fresh ingredients and favors that all married well. I didn’t expect much from a pizza place located in the center of a little sleepy fisherman’s wharf but they proved that looks can be deceiving.
By the way… Look a little further down the menu and you will find a pie that costs $ 800 bucks!

The pizza is amazing! A friend of our brought us there last summer when we were here. Many choices and the ingredients are fresh. Must try if you love pizza and not satisfied with the ordinary!

We got the Princess and it was huge!!! Tons of fresh shrimps & tiger prawns, but kind of too much for me haha. Good value and quite yummy. Not the best in terms of crust or tomato sauce, but creative and worth checking out, especially if you love seafood on pizza.

On the pricy side. We tried the Princess, Canadian and Hawaiian. The pizza was way over loaded with toppings, which most people would like, but since we were eating a that park across the street and didn’t have plates with fork and knife to eat with, it got rather messy. Got the Hawaiian for my 4 & 2 year old, this was a fail… they couldn’t hold it in their hands to eat, and basically just picked off some toppings. I wouldn’t recommend getting this pizza for your little ones. Best go get some fish and chips for them, and leave these pizzas to enjoy by adults. Total bill for the 3 pizzas was about $ 85 bucks. Pretty pricy.

So I will admit that Unilocal led us to this fantastic pizza place in May 9^th. There were so many fantastic choices it was difficult to pick the pizzas we did order. All of the staff were sociable, friendly and they were faster than they said they would be. Make this one of your stops for food if your in Steveston.

Tried their princess pizza as recommended by the workers and also everyone was buying it! For $ 35 it leans on the pricier side, but you can really taste the freshness and higher quality ingredients. The prawns in this pizza are huge and the smoked salmon is delicious! I highly recommend the princess pizza to seafood-​lovers!

I was picking up tile from Fontile in Vancouver for my job site in Seafair, and the employee told me I should try Steveston Pizza. So today I was at Rod’s Building Supplies picking up some lumber, and I got hungry so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza and it came to 25 bucks, which is a little high in my opinion. I drove off and couldn’t resist so I ate a slice. It was the best Hawaiian pizza I ever had so I found myself scarfing down 3 more slices before getting back to the job site. I gave some to my co workers and they said «WTF where did you get this awesome pizza?!» It was worth every penny and I’m going back tomorrow.

Everyone talks about how good their pizza is and how right they are!
The staff are friendly and welcome you with their menu on an ipad. You get choose from a selection of pizzas but we actually made our own pizza (chicken, ham, pepperoni, tomato sauce and cheese). I was so surprised to see that our pizza was completely covered in cheese on top– no holding back. It was really filling.
A huge plus was that the crust is super thin and crispy.

I tried out Steveston Pizza for the first time and I’m asking myself why I didn’t visit sooner. This place is truly one of a kind! Their gourmet pizza combinations really represent the west coast flavours that Vancouver is known for. The store is small, but there is a bit of seating if you really wish to eat in and looks out onto a quaint village intersection. They bake-​to-​order, but the wait is not too long.
I tasted their most popular pizza, The Princess and also tried The Canadian. The Princess pizza has the juiciest prawns I’ve ever seen, with the right amount of gooey cheese and the flavour was well-​balanced. As I am typing about it right now I am craving for it again!!!
The Canadian was a meat based pizza, loaded with back bacon and veggies. Most meat pizzas to me are a bit salty to my liking but the Canadian did not give me that «sodium overload» feeling.
I love both regular and thin-​crust pizzas, and to me the width of their crust was right for what they offered, as I wouldn’t think the seafood flavours would have stood out as much if it were done on a thicker crust.
My experience at Steveston Pizza Company was amazing. I think eating in actually made it better since I was able to taste it right out of the oven and got to speak with the owner briefly. Their attentive service makes this place extra special and the owner was very kind to everyone who had visited. I will definitely frequent this place again when I’m out in the area.

Nothing beats a real Chicago deep dish pizza or maybe pizza from NYC but steveson pizza is by far the best pizza in Vancouver
They use real fresh west coast ingredients like real crab which some sushi places don’t even use

I was looking for a decent pizza job read about 20 reviews decided on this place they are opposite of the once upon a time set on the other side in the Steveston warf area
Ok the pizza doesn’t use real cheese it’s poly o knock off white cheese not fresh mozzarella which is more expensive and lighter
2^nd issue is the crust is too thin to actually eat the product with your hands you need a knife and fork we ordered this «water pizza» their menu is on ipad minis which is a nice idea but they have a store the size of a shoe box why not serve paper menus they take less space and you can escape their store to read the menu outside instead of getting caught by rcmp who park outside the show set at all hours.
So no room to move around let alone eat anything just standing room I see all these presumably well to do people forking down 150 plus bucks on pizza lol must be in the wrong business that’s just pure profit as far as I am concerned their food cost is probably 5 bucks for that 150 dollar meal anyhow
Gave them a shot plopped down my 25 bucks and change and they served me a 12 inch pizza
What does it taste like?
Garbage burnt and too thin basically a knock off italian pizza shop you know what they say location location location and this place is in a good location they could sell dog poo as ice cream and get away with it
futhermore was I able to eat it no, had to go swipe some forks from the local blenz coffee shop to eat my overpriced garbage which I couldnt finish due to the fact the topping kept falling off the bread doe and the slice couldn’t hold the toppings
This is an annoying Classic fail
3^rd point about quality, the water pizza i got had shrimp none of the shrimp was devained I just saw a lot of rich or touristy type customers probably never cared or knew any better
the owner looks like he is italian but give me a break this us domino’s quality stuff
Go eat this yourself if you heat your house with burning 100 dollar bills for most of us stay away
Epic fail another example of an overhyped place with customers with no taste buds giving this place good reviews fell for it again what a disaster now go away never again

Definitely one of the best pizzas I ever tasted. We ordered their Princess Pizza for $ 30, which was made up entirely of delicious, giant prawns.
The bread was crispy and the cheese was so yummily gooey. Not to mention those prawns, delicious, I’m salivating just thinking about it. This place is one of the reasons to go to Steveson, besides the fresh seafood market.

Tried the Princess, which is one of their most popular pizzas. This place has very limited seating area, and it is made to order. Takes about 15 minutes, but well worth the wait as it comes out oven fresh!
The melting cheese over a relative thin crust that is loaded with toppings makes this place awesome. I think we over did it with the Princess as the tiger prawns was a bit over kill with the large shrimps that were peppered generously throughout. We will definitely come back to try the other types! (one day… I will try their $ 850 SeeNay Pizza!)

Beeeeeeeeeessst pizza ever. To someone who can only eat a maximum of two medium slices of pizza in one sitting, eating half of a Steveston Pizza Company pizza means A LOT. I love the way they layer on their quality ingredients with extra thought… I’m pretty sure they carefully thought about which layer should come first and last, so it seems. It is more expensive than most pizzas, but one of their large pizzas is enough for two or three and it is worth the $$$. I would go for the Hawaiian or Blue, the one with the crab and artichoke was delicious too. the crab meat was for real!

Poly cheese!
I used to love this place, however the type of cheese they’re using now is horrible. I suspect they had to cut costs and have started to use that terrible industrial poly-​cheese that all the other pizza joints have moved to.
Prices go up, quality goes down… it’s the same story everywhere.

Best place ever for pizza. they have the most expensive pizza in the world! And the princess pizza is great, which full of salmon and shrimp! So yummy!

This is the first time I have ever given 5 stars for any venue so far! I came here today with my husband after one of my guy friends wholeheartedly recommended this place to me via Facebook. At first, I was thinking… «it’s just pizza, what is my friend so overhyped about?» Oh goodness was I wrong, this place makes amazing pizza.
When I first arrived, the staff were very friendly at the front helping other people and me. They offer menus on digital tablets in Chinese and English, and the staff handed me one in English, jokingly saying they don’t have it in Japanese yet. Haha, how did they know I was Japanese? The menu was so interesting, I wish I took a screenshot of it. But you can see it at:
. The restaurant itself only has 2 stools by a window table, so this isn’t a place to dine in. If you do want to sit in, it can get cramped and stuffy in there since people are coming in and out for their orders. Everyone was ordering the pizza for take-​out, and I saw several customers bring their pizzas to eat at the picnic benches nearby.
I ordered the Mist pizza for $ 23. It was around 1:30pm, and they told me my pizza would be done in 15 minutes. When I saw another client order the Princess pizza after me, I got pizza envy. I am definitely going to order that one next time. The Mist pizza I got was made with smoked salmon, crab, scallions and truffle infused tomatoes.
I’m usually not a fan of pizza because I find pizza very greasy to eat. But this pizza was so clean to the touch. Just by looking at it, I could tell it was full of high quality and fresh ingredients — definitely a gourmet pizza! The cheese was so good, it wasn’t oily or greasy at all. The flavors were truly savoury, the crab meat gave the pizza a delicious seafood flavor, the smoke salmon slices were light and salty, and the tomatoes and scallions added a subtle sweet hint of flavor.
Three seagulls, two crows, and a wasp also wanted to join in on our lunch at the picnic benches at the park. Therefore, I advise customers to bring your precious pizza with you somewhere else so that you don’t have other hungry creatures buzzing/​circling around you for your delicious meal! Perhaps go closer to the water side with your pizza.

Been meaning to try this place for years, especially after their short, surprisingly hiatus at Cambie a few years ago.
While browsing their menu, their seafood ones didn’t jump at me; i prefer my tiger prawns and scallops in a pasta setting lol.
Went for the Earth one, and added pepperoni for some kick but what tasted the best were the caramelized onions and tomatos. Personally, wouldn’t order this one again as too many on the list to try.
For sure, this is one heavy sucker, loaded with in fact, too much toppings that the slice would sag a bit. A good problem to have lol.
I was lucky, just a 20 min wait when I called in just after 5pm.
While primarily a takeout place, there’s a handful of window action seating. But it’s clean & historic, and friendly service.

Step 2: carry princess pizza out to picnic tables
Step 3: have people come up to you asking what you’re eating and where you got this
Step 4: smile and devour pizza
What more can I say? Definitely the most extreme and the highest quality pizza toppings I’ve had. For $ 33, you’ll get a medium sized pizza loaded with cheese, shrimp, shredded crab, and prawns. They definitely don’t skimp on the toppings! Even the leftovers will have you licking your fingers.

Steveston Pizza Company makes gourmet pizzas and they are seriously unlike anything else you can get in the Greater Vancouver Area.
They use high quality Italian vegetable oil and all their ingredients are extremely fresh and tasty. Their menu is comprised of a plethora of various pizzas that cater to everyone’s likes and needs. Albeit expensive, the pizzas at Steveston Pizza Company are absolutely worth every penny since you can instantly tell that the ingredients are of extremely high quality from the first bite!
My personal favourite is the Water pizza, which has shrimp, crab and pesto. I’m also a fan of the Japanese fusion pizza which has wasabi teriyaki chicken, enoki mushrooms and sesame seaweed sauce. There are several fusion pizzas that take on different cultures such as French, Mexican and Mediterranean so it’s always really interesting to try out different flavours!
This place is usually very busy so definitely call in beforehand or else you’ll have to wait a while. Most of the pizzas are $ 23 for a 12″ pie while they have some premium ones that range from $ 33 to over a hundreds dollars!
Their building is also situated in the picturesque Steveston Village, so you could always just pick up a pizza and eat it by the docks, where there is free seating! If you don’t mind walking, you could also head up to Garry Point where people normally have picnics by the beach. Either way, their pizza is amazing no matter where and when you eat it!

Ok, this has been on my top ten to try places for a few years. Finally grabbed a couple pies for take out and mine was OMG good.
I had the Knight and it was outstanding. Can’t wait for my next one.
My wife had the Marguerite Five and it just didn’t have the depth of flavour as mine did. Next time she will try something different.

Pricier than most pizza places but very good. Unique ingredients and various seafood based pizzas make this place stand out.
There’s also several versions of Margarita pizzas which is good if you like veggies.
People tend to sit outside by the park bench which tends to lead to a lot of discarded pizza boxes. However they have left a pizza garbage bin to address the issue. Props. That’s 5 star business behaviour.
A nice pizza joint alternative.

I have to agree with the majority of reviewers here that Steveston Pizza serves up an amazing pizza. My whole family is a huge fan of their meat and vegetarian options and we go here for take out on a regular basis.
Their toppings are fresh and their crust is a perfect pizza crust consistency without overloading you with to many carbs (aka, not the deep dish variety). My favourites at the moment is the Pink (smoked salmon, bocconcini, asparagus, pesto) and the Caveman (lots of meat). We found that the best combination in terms of value is to order a small kids sized pizza along side a regular as the kids sized is still a decent size with lots of toppings.
Since the location is in such a beautiful part of Richmond (Steveston Villiage) I always recommended people go and order a few pizzas, take it to Gary Point park nearby and enjoy some pizza while watching the kits fly by. Don’t forget your picnic blankets!
