Food Solutions is located inside a plaza on no. 2 and Blundell, I probably would not notice the store if I wasn’t on purposely looking for orthotics as they do health claims. The selection of shoes are ok with relatively recent styles(2015). They also have catalogues if you don’t find anything appealing in store(may take a few weeks to order in). They sell brands such as ECCO, UGGS, New Balance, Clarks and some other few comfortable shoe brands. Their brands and pricing is usually standard as other stores but I would strongly suggest you do your research beforehand before ordering as prices may vary on their ordering websites. Service from the lady was ok and she provides the basics for you. You will need to book an appointment if you need orthotics. The doctor seems to be very nice and examined my feet and did 3D molds and such which took about 15mins. A pair of insoles will cost you anywhere from 200 $ to 400 $+ and takes 3 weeks time. They also sell bamboo and more comfortable/higher quality socks as well. I picked a pair up for 18 $ and the lady said«it’ll feel like you are walking on carpet and will not feel hot». Store looks a bit out-dated but its an orthotics store so I don’t expect it to be too trendy-looking anyway. Lots of parking available in parking lot.

Terrible service. Store owner rudely criticizes my parents«next time don’t order something that is not in our store!» When THEY made the mistake of ordering wrong colour, and you know what? Shoes are something you need to try on before wearing. It just happens that the very same pair of shoes were uncomfortable for my dad. Then maybe don’t offer the service of ordering from catalogue or internet that is not in-store. I will definitely take my business elsewhere and will not be recommending you to any of my family and friends and anyone I know. Rude. Clearly from previous review I am not the only one who feels offended from their store. Arrogant and obnoxious. I am not saying customers are always right or always #1 but if you won’t admit your mistakes and blame it on the customers, then maybe avoid the customer service field.

Worst Foot Solutions branch. Went there with a friend to pick up shoes he ordered. My friend asked the store person(Maggie) if his order is already there since its suppose to arrive after 2 weeks but its been a month and a half already. This Maggie arrogantly said«Then why are you here?!» –my friend was surprised with her response but just said«We were just hoping that its already here given the long wait». Maggie blurted I called you and I left a message-and my friend said«I dont have an answering machine how could you left a message?» Then Maggie just changed the topic and said«let me check» and came back with the shoes– and said its here{imagine the shoes are there already God knows how long} My friend tried it and yeah, wrong size its small!!!-size 10 and he’s size is 11. He said can you replace it please, Maggie said«NO!» and repeatedly saying«its not my problem and no it can not be replaced» since its from the States. Cant believe im buying in a store in Canada with this attitude. She doesnt have an oz of customer quality service in her. She then changed gear by insisting my friend ordered the wrong size.(talking about adding insult to injury).he pointed out that this is not the first time he ordered and all of his orders were never 10. Maggie just ignored him and checked her records and found he is right. She just said, «Not my problem!» She just ignored him and went to whatever she was doing behind the counter. My friend was so pissed… he just wasted $ 160(which is by the way super overpriced). My friend is contemplating reporting it to the consumer protection authorities. Dont go to this branch in RICHMOND… worst customer service!
