They are open now at 11:35 pm so Unilocal is not correct! Delicious and fresh and great value for the money(especially on the neighborhood).

Great late night food. I wish I could post a photo of a chicken sandwich I had, but I ate it before I had a chance to take a pic.

Calories in, money out($CA9.15 for a sandwich… $ 2.25 for a can of pop! This place has nothing Lebanese to it except for the employees. Chicken ‘galette’ is a pita. The chicken was plain. More a chicken salad. Zero marinade. Head over to Basha or Amir in Montréal for the real deal. At least the latter marinate with garlic and other spices. The only thing going for this place is the location and and the price compared to restaurants in the vicinity. At least the kid at the counter was energetic, and he let us eat before heading back in to pay. As far as fast food goes, you’d best cross the street and go into Ashton’s for a poutine. It’ll feel like less of a ripoff.

We hit this place two nights in a row. Small and inexpensive spot with few options. What they offer is not exactly the shawarma, I would call it a pizza roll since they bake meat and cheese on the bread in the oven and then add veggies and sauce before they roll it up. I am not sure if its Lebanese food either which is not as meaty or spicier as some other shawarma places but big portion is filling and it got decent taste. The staff is friendly and the service is very quick and thats the reason for a 4-start review. Good place for a quick bite.

I don’t know why it’s known as a Lebanese place. Don’t get me wrong the sandwich was good tasting but definitely not even close to what I will call a Lebanese sandwich. A good grilled paninish pita but a Lebanese sandwich? No. Lacking the essential middle eastern condiments as well as chicken wasn’t seasoned. It will serve as a great sandwich but if you are looking for an authentic Lebanese place then please do not go here.

My boyfriend and I, whom were visiting QC City, from Toronto, randomly stopped in for a late bite as it was the only place on the street still open. Neither of us had tried Lebanese food before but we were both pleasantly surprised! We received higher than excellent service from the owner named, Tony! He shared his stories about the restaurant, he even brought us chairs from the back to sit on and was so incredibly welcoming. The food was remarkable. He freshly rolled out the dough of the Galettes(similar to a shwarma) and cooked it fresh, right before us. They offer a variety of toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, olives, hot peppers, pickled onions as well as homemade garlic sauce and hot sauce. We also had take-away desserts which were also splendid– we tried the Carrot Cake and the Chocolate Brownie. DEFINITELYSTOPBYTHISPLACE! Ps. Wiz Khalifa loves this place– you’re greeted with a picture of him and the staff at the location.

Good place for those on a budget but the food was just alright. I guess these are kind of shawarmas… normally I prefer mine to be spicier, meatier, bigger, with more stuff. To be fair, I was sharing with food with a super picky eater so I couldn’t get all the toppings I’d like(like tomatoes and garlic mayo), but still, this was nothing special. The bread was nice and crispy, which I liked. We ordered beef with feta in addition to chicken. The chicken had more meat in it — pieces of nicely roasted, fairly juicy chicken but it didn’t have much of a distinct flavour to it because I felt like it wasn’t really spiced. The beef was sort of like a minced beef sauce — nicely spiced but there wasn’t much meat and the sauce was a little wet(I think drier/thicker sauces go better in wrap sandwiches because it makes things less messy and doesn’t make the bread soggy). I’m surprised at the high ratings. If I were to go back to Quebec City, I’d rather try one of the other(many) Lebanese eateries.

Looking a bit awkward on the outside, we tried this one after some advice from a review website. Because we were not planning to spend too much money On the overexpensive restaurants in the centre of Québec a meal of Max 9 dollars(salmon galette) looked like a good deal. Very tasteful and we were glad to tried this cosy snack bar. When we wanted the second galette split up in two halves(for having a small taste from both sides) the owner didn’t want to do that despite we saw him doing it for other customers. Strange, otherwise I would have given him 5 stars.

On our recent trip to Quebec we found this gem. Best food, freshest ingredients, most amazing friendly owners. Violette and her son are wonderful people with a talent for producing awesome food and the warmth to make total strangers feel like family. We actually came back the next day out of a craving for more. We had the beef, the chicken and the falafel as well as the walnut cinnamon baklava and all was out of this world delicious. We certainly will come back. Don’t let the whole in the wall location fool you — they also have a sit down location as well as Violette told us.

The falafels were delicious — we got the chicken and the falafel and they were both amazing! The pita bread were fresh rolled and baked right front of us and the ingredients were fresh and amazing. After housing them, we are thinking about a short walk and maybe going back for more???

Stopped here during a short trip to Quebec City. This was a great find for an inexpensive bite to eat. The owner is a lovely woman who obviously loves feeding her patrons. Delicious!

The fact that I continuously got directed to completely disappointing food via various Québécois websites is insanely depressing to me. Visiting the tourist areas of Quebec made me realize how incredibly spoiled we are here in California. And honestly, if any of you ate falafel in California, you’d get your jollies off. When they spread on the falafel paste into my flatbread and handed it to me, I had an aneurysm. I’m used to incredibly fresh falafel paste being dropped into a cauldron of hot oil and fried. Then it’s briefly drained and wrapped into a thin and blistered lafa bread with tahini, refreshing raita, cucumbers and sometimes eggplant. What I had here was essentially a Lebanese Taco Bell Chalupa. And two of them cost $ 20!

Ok, so this is the #1 rated restaurant in all of Quebec City on Trip Advisor. We decided to give it a try. Went in on a Thursday afternoon at @ 2:00, no waiting. It is counter service with a few umbrella covered tables in front. The Lebanese pita type sandwiches are amazing. The«pita» is made fresh for each person. Very thin and delicious. I had an off menu spicy sausage and my wife had the beef. Wonderful and filing. The owner is a true gem. If your looking for some great quick different dining in QC… this is it!

This is a fabulous counter service restaurant in Quebec, along a main street a few blocks up from the city arch. The owner(and chef) is fluent in French and English, the latter helpful for us. What makes this restaurant unique is that the sandwich with meat or filling is constructed on a circle of uncooked dough, and then fired in the pizza oven to bake the bread right before you eat it. I had the«thym»(thyme, oil, sesame seeds, and lemon juice I think) and DH the lamb(precooked, sliced). After the bread is baked, the toppings are added. DH had lettuce, tomato, pickled onion, olives and tzatziki(yogurt/mint dressing). I subbed garlic mayo for the tzatziki. Neither of us added cheese, or hot peppers, but they were available. The circle is folded in half, wrapped in parchment, and«voila!» You can do a combo with soda and salad or dessert for about $ 3 more — total $ 9 – 10 for a complete meal. There is seating outside — a good number of tables and we didn’t have trouble getting one. I loved the thym — really tart and herby and the garlic mayo made a good foil for it. DH felt the same about the lamb. But what made the meal special was the fresh warm bread wrap. Heaven! The sandwiches are very large — two light appetites could split one combo with salad and dessert. We added couscous salad to one meal and a pastry(cannelle) to the other. The couscous was fresh tasting, with a good amount of celery and a few bits of red pepper and chick peas, light to no dressing. The cannelle was a little soggy; maybe we could have chosen more wisely as it had a cinnamon rather than a crunchy nut filling like the other baklava. It tasted delicious, though. Salad and dessert is prepacked into individual serving containers so ready to go. Good selection of sodas(Coke brand) in cans.

Authentic Lebanese food! Great service & clean place. Good price and amazing taste. You must try. FYI It’s just a take out. No seating.
